Actually, no, it's a good case to REPEAL CCW permits and decriminalize all forms of carry of defensive arms. This is what you get when you put your fundamental human and civil rights at the mercy of governments, they get to revoke those fundamental rights at a whim.

The day after Kristallnacht a bureaucrat of the Reich enacted "Regulations Against Jews' Possession of Weapons" with a basis in law that had existed for many years. We all know the outcome of that.

What privileges, like carrying concealed, the government gives the government can also take away.

Carrying concealed, driving, starting and operating a business, marriage, etc. are all privileged activities, not rights, which require permission from the State to engage in.

One day carrying (concealed or open) a gun will be a right again.

NOAA claims the winds are 85 MPH, but none of the Weather Underground stations in the area report higher than 33 MPH winds. By definition, this is not a hurricane – and is just barely a tropical storm.
