Prosser admits touching Bradley's neck; she says she suffered no harm
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel ^ | 8/26/11 | By Jason Stein and Bruce Vielmetti of the Journal Sentinel

Madison - Supreme Court Justice David Prosser acknowledged to detectives touching Justice Ann Walsh Bradley's neck - even feeling its warmth - and Bradley acknowledged getting "face to face to confront him" but suffering no physical harm from the contact, the judges said in separate interviews with law enforcement.

The Dane County Sheriff's Department released 117 pages of investigation records Friday that provide a peephole into both a physical altercation on June 13 between the two judges and the increasing dysfunction on the state's highest court. The interviews detailed cross-claims of justices accusing one another of shouting, slamming doors and being physically threatening, with at least a couple of statements being made that appeared to be contradicted by the evidence.

The interviews show that the three justices in the minority have had with serious personal problems with Prosser - a member of the court's four-person conservative majority - that have gone back at least 10 years. According to the report, Bradley and another justice met with court staff about Prosser's anger issues in February 2010 - more than a year before the latest incident.

In a June 30 interview with detectives, Supreme Court Justice Annette K. Ziegler summed up the fracas in a statement that ould have applied to the court as a whole.

"The whole thing was just bizarre," Ziegler said.

None of the seven justices immediately responded to a request for comment made through a court spokeswoman.

I thought they had already turned Prosser over to the union thugs for execution and that he had been executed.

Since when is shouting and slamming a door a crime?

Sure, it may be unpleasant, but why are the police involved?

“...the increasing dysfunction on the state’s highest court.”

Why do the accuse the entire court of ‘dysfunction’ when the dysfunction was specific to one looney member?!

I see it different. Bradley rushed at Prosser, and from most accounts, seemed pretty unhinged at the moment. Following that, she and Abrahamson embellished the meme that Prosser was the instigator, and that Prosser exerted force against Bradley's neck.

There's an incident there alright, and it's four-square in your face started by Bradley.

Not exactly a non-incident. More like a pattern. Specifically the three lib justices establishing a pattern of provoking the man (or just accusing him) in order to set him up.

It’s like saying one of the BTK serial killer’s victims “admitted touching his neck”. She attacked Prosser!

This is, to me, outrageous....

“...Tubbs asked for a commitment from the justices to avoid any more verbal and physical abuse and told them that in a workplace a man can never put his hands on a woman...”

I have had incidents in my own past, in the workplace, involving a crazed woman under the influence of drugs. Though I personally always managed to avoid her, I saw the results on one of my colleagues when she literally took a bite out of his neck.

Police Chief Tubbs is full of something.

She approached his face with hers. He felt the warmth of her neck.

I thought this was supposed to be a fight, not making out?

Even the headline is biased. Prosser admitted touching the female justice ... after she got directly into his face, fists and voice raised, coming at him. So she started it. Yet this headline and lede only tell us that he grabbed her (no mention of the provocation by her) and didn’t manage to injure her.

>>> touching Justice Ann Walsh Bradley’s neck - even feeling its warmth -

Do Bruce & Jason write romance novels on the side of their newspaper jobs?

“I felt the warmth of her neck. Her breasts heaved... I leaned in to kiss her...”

Then she called the cops.
