As a Sarah Palin supporter I’m ambivalent about Michele Bachmann but have always doubted that she’ll survive the primary elections. This is now an old story about Iowans alleged displeasure at Bachmann for not hanging out with everyone present at some event for hours on end. If Bachmann did this repeatedly, she’ll lose the favor of voter, fast. If it was a one-time situation, it’s no big deal and the long-running whining sounds petty and suspiciously like a DNC plant trying to keep the negativity toward Michele Bachmann alive. In any case, Bachmann has her hands full with Rick Perry as well as Mitt Romney and I doubt she’ll risk alienating a single voter. If Sarah Palin joins the race, I suspect that Michele Bachmann will withdraw. We’ll see.

The Latino vote will be the difference in sending Barry home and ruining our country.....better get used to the pandering because there are really about 30 million of them here and they are voting.....illegally...but voting. Throw the Muslim out, take back the Senate and then we will throw the illegals out.....

It’s sad that the silly ego crap of Iowa and NH primary voters has an effect on which candidate is chosen. The voters are bigger prima donnas than the candidates.

Theres more than one candidate or potential candidate behaving like a 'rock star'.
Not that there's anything wrong with it. Its all about name recognition and to do that a candidate has got to spread themselves pretty thin.

Well, they will vote for Obozo. Get serious. Or are we going to play the game of giving them freebies for their illegal votes? So we aren’t going to stand against people casting illegal ballots.
If that is the case, it is already too late.

It was actually her JAMES Dean moment, if we can use James as a stand-in for Elvis.

I haven't decided who I am supporting yet. I may support Bachmann. I may support Perry. I won't support Romney.
I will say that IF a candidate is pulling this rock star crap, as this politician claims, it's not going to sell well. Midwesterners in general absolutely resent being big timed whether it is real or perceived. If you want our support, earn it. You're not entitled to it.

I would never fault Bachman for anything she did during campaign appearances. She's been constantly hammered, harassed and trashed by the media and leftist activists. I'm sure her security people advised her to hang in her bus and stay out of the crowds. The Left is crazy and capable of anything.
I went a luncheon where she spoke and she had no security or minders. Just her and her husband. And she spent time talking to everyone.

The Left is crazy and capable of anything. You're right. Bachmann has already been glittered.
Speaking of which, if another candidate has stood up to the homosexual agenda in keeping with the views held by most Freepers as she has, name them.

Instead, Saul points out Bachmann spent time on her campaign bus, only entering for her turn to speak at the event after she was introduced twice. Bachmann needs to be careful because of the crazy lefties out there. She has already been glittered because of her stand on the homosexual agenda, something I thought most Freepers agreed with her on.

So a guy who holds a fundraiser for Rick Perry doesnt like Michele Bachmann? Oh brutha. This was not a fundraiser for Perry. Perry and Bachmann both spoke at the event (plus Santorum), but it was a fundraiser *for* the county GOP.

I don’t support any of these people.
But this is an obvious hit-piece with no real substance.
