So far I see that two professional organizations (Weather Underground and Advance Forecasting Corporation) are downplaying the end-of-the-world catastrophic hysteria for this storm. I would expect others, like The Weather Channel to continue the hype as they have the human-caused global warming sky-is-falling mantra in the face of scientific evidence to the contrary.
