I’m dozing on sofa keeping ears open for any trees crashing in this woody area. White Oak over house behaving. Winds/rain more like Nor’Easter. My portable radio on to keep informed.sure hate not seeing what is going on.

Back around 1985 I think in Houston Texas we had a hurricane that came through, what happened was that on many of the downtown office buildings that were under construction there were materials that broke free and then went on a cascade effect of smashing all the high rise windows, there was literally piles of broken glass over 3 feet high on the streets.
I just woke up and I am watching the news, I don’t get any hurricanes here in Alaska but I have been in several when I lived in Texas many years ago.
I hope that all is well with you and hubby and there wasn’t to much damage. Don’t you just hate it when these storms come through at night? The imagination goes berserk imagining what is happening.
