CNN started to mention that. Then the reporters got cut off, and the station went to a “Break”. When they came back they told about it, and actually admitted that they did not know if they could run with the story. They basically admitted that the news is censored.

Translation: It’s saturday night, there’s a hurricane going on and no spokesman to be found
Further reports indicated that it had been shut down since Friday night, and it was the second time they’d recently declared ‘unusual event’ status (the first one being the earthquake). So it was definitely not just a little inconsequential business-as-usual, but it’s not a big problem demanding public explanation, either. That’s how I see it.
