Wisconsin - Special prosecutor: No charges for Prosser, Bradley in fracas
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel ^ | The Associated Press and Jason Stein

Madison - Neither Supreme Court Justice David Prosser nor fellow Justice Anne Walsh Bradley will face criminal charges for an altercation this summer involving the two, a special prosecutor has determined.

"The totality of the facts and the circumstances and all of the evidence that I reviewed did not support my filing criminal charges," Sauk County District Attorney Patricia Barrett said in an interview Thursday.

Bradley has said Prosser put her in a "chokehold" during a June argument over a case in her chambers. Others have said Bradley came at Prosser with fists raised and he put up his hands to block her or push her back.

The incident occurred June 13, a day before the deeply divided court issued a 4-3 ruling upholding Republican Gov. Scott Walker's legislation curtailing collective bargaining for public employees.

In a statement, Prosser praised the prosecutor and slammed Bradley.

"Justice Anne Walsh Bradley made the decision to sensationalize an incident that occurred at the Supreme Court . . . ," Prosser said in a statement. "I was confident the truth would come out and it did. I am gratified that the prosecutor found these scurrilous charges were without merit.

"I have always maintained that once the facts of this incident were examined I would be cleared. I look forward to the details becoming public record."

First report here.

This has been a joke from the start. Madison prosecutors were too afraid to call fraud on this so it was bumped to a retiring Sauk county prosecutor so she could call fraud instead. She happens to be a Republican who is not running for reelection when her term expires in 2012.

Justice Ann “Fists of Fury” Bradley should now be charged with filing a false police report.

Bradley claims that it was never about prosecuting Prosser for assault but more about “workplace safety” at the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Sheesh!

“In her statement, Bradley said she would continue to focus on the issue of “safety.””

She’s going to take an anger management class so the safety of the other justices are assured? Cool.

I’ve never met Prosser but a friend has. She said he’s no taller than 5’5’ and very slight. I would love to know how big Bradley is.

We all know how ugly the liberal women are and how drop-dead gorgeous we conservative women are.

No pictures, please. ;)

The article says that Bradley, who is only 62, has announced plans to retire in 2012 when her current term ends.

That is awfully young to retire ... unless
1. You believe that you’re gonna get beaten, like Herb Kohl knows he would be; and/or
2. Your doctors are telling you it’s time to step aside.

My guess is that she has some sort of mental issue. What kind of top-court official runs at a 69-year-old man with her fists raised, in the first place?

People call them BOTH children, but seriously, what are you supposed to do if a 62-year-old woman rages at you with, fists first? I’d sure as heck “put my hands on her” albeit only defensively. How was that response “childish”?

She had decided not run again way before this was passed on to her.

It’s not Bradley who is retiring, it’s the Sauk County DA.

More good news from Wisconsin. Good for you, badgers. You’re winning the fight for America and showing the nation how to crush leftist rats.

You have my respect and appreciation.

The DA who cleared Prosser was a Republican so I'm sure the leftists will say its rigged. As there was no evidence of choking and witnesses (the rest of the court minus one) said there was no choking, thus no case. Which is probably why the left wing Dane County DA punted on this. His clearing Prosser would won't allow the leftist to rage some more and collect more donations.
