When youre the single, attractive secretary of state for the United States, youre bound to pick up groupies in all corners of the international diplomatic scene.
But for Condoleezza Rice, who has charmed diplomats from Rome (the Italian foreign minister, Massimo DAlema) to London (Foreign Minister Jack Straw of Britain) to Pictou, Nova Scotia (the Canadian diplo-hunk Peter McKay), perhaps the strangest of all has always been Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi of Libya.
Leezza, Leezza, Leezza I love her very much, Colonel Qaddafi, the now-fugitive Libyan leader, told Al Jazeera in 2007, calling her his darling black African woman. When Ms. Rice visited her suitor in 2008, at the same compound that Libyan rebels are now ransacking (more on that in a second) back during the brief period when Colonel Qaddafi was in good graces with the United States, the Libyan dictator put his hand against his heart in greeting.
And, as it now comes out, he apparently assembled or had a minion assemble a photo album of Ms. Rice. Which brings us to the matter at hand today, the ransacking of Colonel Qaddafis compound under way in Tripoli.

Who knew Col Gaddari had good taste LOL!
Bump
This whole situation is coming unglued. Libya is now headed into anarchy, with what is likely to be unending tribal warfare, Islamist insurgents, billions in unfrozen assets and oh ya, tons of unaccounted for mustard gas and other chemical/biological weapons. Disaster.
Have the authorities checked to see if he has fled Libya and secretly moved in to her garage?
¨Come with me to the Casbah¨ ping....
U.S. Diplomat: I beg your pardon?
Moamar: Your boss, Condi Rice...does she, er, does she ‘go’ - eh? eh? eh? Know what I mean, know what I mean? Nudge nudge. Say no more.
U.S. Diplomat: Well, she sometimes goes, yes.
Moamar: I bet she does. I bet she does. I bet she does. Know what I mean? Nudge nudge.
U.S. Diplomat: I'm sorry, I don't quite follow you.
Moamar Follow me. Follow me. I like that. That's good. A nod’s as good as a wink to a blind bat, eh? (elbow gesture; rubs it)
U.S. Diplomat: Are you trying to sell something?
Moamar: Selling, selling. Very good. Very good. (hand tilting quickly) Oh, wicked. Wicked. You're wicked. Eh? Know what I mean. Know what I mean? Nudge nudge. Know what I mean? Nudge nudge. Nudge nudge. (leaning over to him , making eye gesture; speaks slowly) Say...no...more. (leans back as if having imparted a great secret)
U.S. Diplomat: But...
Moamar: (stops him with raised finger which he lays alongside nose; gives slight tap) Condi Rice, is she, eh... is she a sport. Eh?
U.S. Diplomat: She likes sport, yes!
Moamar: I bet she does, I bet she does!
U.S. Diplomat: She is very fond of baseball as a matter of fact.
Moamar: (leans across, looking away) Who isn't, eh? Know what I mean. Likes games, likes games. Knew she would. Knew she would. Knew she would. Likes games, eh? She's been around, eh? Been around?
U.S. Diplomat: She's traveled. She's from D.C..
Moamar: Oh...oh. Say no more, say no more. Say no more - D.C., say no more. D.C., eh? Know what I mean, know what I mean. Say no more.
U.S. Diplomat: (about to speak; can't quite think of anything to say)
Moamar: (leers, grinning) Is Condi interested in er... (waggles head, leans across) photographs, eh? Know what I mean? Photographs, ‘he asked him knowingly’.
U.S. Diplomat: Photography?
Moamar: Yes. Nudge nudge. Snap snap. Grin grin, wink wink, say no more?
U.S. Diplomat: Holiday snaps?
Moamar: Could be, could be taken on holiday. Could be yes - swimming costumes. Know what I mean. Candid photography. Know what I mean, nudge nudge.
