As I have mentioned previously, one of major goals of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is to stop “Islamophobia”, which is its preferred term for the criticism of or opposition to Islam by non-Muslims.
The word “Islamophobia” is of relatively recent coinage. I never encountered it until after 9-11, and it was subjected to widespread ridicule, at least among non-Muslims and non-leftists, when it first became widely known. However, after the OIC and the UN harped on it for a few years, and the progressive media solemnly repeated the Muslim party line, “Islamophobia” gained general currency as a serious, scholarly word for a dangerous mental deficiency that needed to be eradicated in the West.
It piggybacked its way into politically correct usage on “homophobia”, which in turn drew on the word “xenophobia” as its ideological predecessor. Strangely enough, “xenophobia” is not in my Shorter Oxford Dictionary on Historical Principles, but appears in my Oxford Dictionary of English Etymology. The word is not terribly old; it was coined in the late 19th century during a period when many mental disorders were first being labeled with Greek neologisms. Based on the Greek word for “fear”, a “phobia” was the general term assigned to conditions of morbid fearfulness. “Hydrophobia”, for example, was used to describe a morbid fear of water. The stem “xeno-” means “strange” or “foreign”, and “xenophobia” was originally synonymous with “agoraphobia” — it meant “a morbid fear of open spaces”.

Fear of Islam is perfectly rational. Just read a bit of history and the present news.
EXACTLY! Why is it ‘irrational’ to fear a cult that wants to subjugate the world by violence? Was the fear of the people in the burning Twin Towers ‘irrational’?

While the media is widely covering the recent complaints of discrimination against Muslims, I haven’t seen any real coverage of the charges against the developer of the Ground Zero Mosque developer.
AllState insurance is suing the man for insurance fraud. It seems that the man has been running a scam, filing fraudulent insurance claims, hiring friends to file claims for the work and taking kick backs.
It kind of makes the supporters of this mosque project look like frauds too, don’t you think?

The same logic applies to HOMOphobia. My fear of homosexual activist trends is quite rational. I don’t like speaking out against them for fear of repercussions against my family. Otherwise I’d be QUITE vocal in my opposition to homosexual activism.
My daughter works at a museum. An Arab woman asked her what type of discounts they gave for members of the Islamic Society of North America. My daughter said "There aren't any." The woman was extremely offended. She thought she should get special rates for being a muslim!

Islamaphobia - The irrational fear of people who are trying to kill you.
It’s a term that was invented and is used to demean people who have rationally reacted to the Jihad. It avoids dealing in rational discourse, which those who habitually resort to labels are incapable of.
islamophobia - The fear that members of the death cult called islam will continue to murder, oppress and destroy peoples and freedoms throughout the world as the seek to send the planet back to the 7th century.

Our pResident openly endorses the MB, partners to the OIC. He has given them the presidentical seal of approval. Matter of fact, he is helping them in their Libyan front for the North African Caliphate with American dollars!
Islamophobia is what was suffered by those people who were forced by a fire to jump from the highest floors of the WTC on 11 September 2001.
It’s not phobia, it’s the rebuke of drinking the kool aid conversion to Islam. And what is it with them about us? Why do they need my attention and funding? Who are these people?
Granted there are queer “androgenes” out there who fear Islam as a label, but these are queers.
From the language of homophobia to “women’s fear of being raped” by islamics, the Fabians and communist keep pimping and mocking us, telling us to give up fighting back.
