Both of mine are 9 mm’s. One fairly new.. the other purchased used.... to be fair, I have not put a sig amount of ammo through either one.
Best, MFO
Let's see. The guy has a mask on, is waving a shotgun, and is committing a serious armed felony. If I were the customer, I certainly would be in fear for my life in such a situation. Why should I wait until he decides to point it at me and pull the trigger? By then, it would be too late to do anything about it except die.
The threat is real, deadly, and imminent and about anybody in their right mind would be afraid for their life. True, I don't have the LEO expectation to intervene to stop the crime, but I do have the legal right of defending my own life and it is in mortal peril at this point.
I agree completely. If someone enters a store with a gun, you have to assume the worst is about to happen to you. I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Once again I understand what you all are feeling AND expressing.
Just saying, unless he was directing his weapon and ire towards me, the best course of action (from a legal standpoint) MAY be escape, NOT engagement. If there was NO safe exit option, or if there was a direct and imminent PERSONAL threat, then engagement would certainly be justifiable, from a legal standpoint I imagine.
