Quote from one of the comments at the website.
“Go back to the Sheriff Tommy Robinson days...”SHOOT ‘EM FIRST, REHABILITATE THEM LATER”...To hell with their CIVIL RIGHTS. They shouldn’t have any rights when commiting crime!!!!”

Personally never. Have I seen plenty of innocent people bankrupted defending themselves and wrongfully convicted as a result of indictments handed down by a grand jury which was provided false, misleading, incomplete and non-exculpatory information by an overzealous prosecutor? Yes.

Give that trooper an FR medal for taking out the trash properly. No range time needed for him! Pass go, collect 200 kudos from his fellow LEOs.

Sheriff Tommy RobinsonAh, that brings back fond memories. He was our equivalent of today's AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

We just had a doofus in this area arrested for breaking in and stealing copper pipe from a house that belonged to a cop.

I’ve never “seen” anyone robbed by a grand jury, but I’ve heard of some.

Arkansas is not one of the Peoples Republiks that suffers excessive nanny-ism.I just bought 25 acres in the northern part of Ark. Soon as I can sell my place in Louisiana I'm gone.

“A non-controversial police shooting. Though if the criminal entered an occupied dwelling wouldn’t this be robbery rather than burglary?”
My thoughts exactly. More like a home invasion robbery. Violent, not more passive like a burglary.

Interesting crowd you run with, by the way. I mean, what with “plenty of innocent people” you’ve seen railroaded by the grand jury. Most people don’t personally know anyone that’s ever been indicted.
You in the mob or what? LOL!

Im assuming the presence of the marked police car. Do they take their cars home in Arkansas? They do in WV and VA. Some cities here in NC allow their officers to take the cop cars home. I have two policemen living on a very short street.

I couldnt care less about Arkansas law. Im making a general point about the frequent, practical disparity between the ways in which ordinary citizens are treated, as opposed to law enforcement officers.
Clearly, generalizations must be your forte. Looking deeper actually requires looking at the situation.

good post.......impossible to argue..........
re officer Thompson..........I’m sure he is devastated but, good grief, a 5 year old kid is dead................!
all my kids are grown and long gone but I NEVER, and I do mean NEVER, left a loaded gun (out of about a dozen) anywhere other than in my ALWAYS LOCKED 700 lb safe...........
sitting on a shelf in the closet would have been unthinkable!

Yes, I guess they are. Drawing larger conclusions and generally applicable principles from specific situations is fundamental to meaningful discourse, as is using specific situations to illustrate larger, related points. I'll leave the myopic obsessions to you guys.

I would hope that duty compelled you to respond to one or two lost kitten calls, or similarly urgent requests for service, before you were able to find the free time to call off your dog.
