A Martha's Vineyard reception for Obama was hosted by the head of the nation's largest cable/media company, Comcast, which just closed its deal for NBC Universal Inc. earlier this year. Obama and close aide Valerie Jarrett were hosted by Brian and Aileen Roberts at their multimillion-dollar North Shore mansion. Roberts has joined the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, serving with Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg, Time Warner CEO Richard Parsons,

The Roberts mansion (on the right in Google Earth image) is in the hilly and forested North Shore, in the town of West Tisbury. The area looks out on a chain of small islands in the Vineyard Sound, the Elizabeth Islands, one of which is owned by the Forbes family, according to a local official. Massachusetts records note that the Roberts property was purchased in 1999 for $12 million and is held in the name of the North Shore Realty Trust.

Obama's Platform Realized:

1. Significantly reduce air pollution (through industrial collapse)

2. Get more people out of their cars (nowhere to go, and gas too expensive anyway)

3. Put a premium on families (by making sure unemployment skyrockets, sending people home)

4. Leading by example (sorry, that cuts into his great travels and vacations)

5. Assure people a small fortune (if you'll give him a large one you've worked hard for your entire life)

6. Go after Wall Street fat cats (with hat in hand, while nobody is reporting it, to collect campaign contributions)

7. Be the most transparent president (ha ha)

8. Prohibit Water Boarding (except when I can use the work of Bush, and the media lets me deny it)

9. Bring a Great First Lady into my office (OK, so she is bit extravagant, eats too much, and has a big behind - but aren't you proud?)

10. Be a president you can be proud of (did I mention I am the president? You do see the seal, don't you?)
