The White House today addressed Vice President Biden's controversial comments concerning China's one-child policy.
From a spokesman:
The Obama Administration strongly opposes all aspects of Chinas coercive birth limitation policies, including forced abortion and sterilization."
The spokesman added that Biden found the policy 'repugnant' and was trying to point out to the Chinese that the one-child policy was economically unsustainable.
GOP presidential candidates Rick Perry and Mitt Romney together with Speaker of the House John Boehner previously issued statements criticizing the Vice-President remarks.
Jon Huntsman also released a statement prior to the Vice President's remarks:
"As an adoptive father, whose daughter was abandoned by her parents in China, Gov. Huntsman is intimately familiar with the impact of China's 'one-child' policy. As someone who is firmly pro-life, he feels the policy runs counter to the fundamental value of human life and is heartbroken by the destructive nature of the policy that has cost millions of lives."

What did Biden say, exactly? I never did catch it.
I call BS. If someone really believes this global warming crap and wishes to reverse modernization and cause major major sufferings of living peoples then by extension they surely have even less regard for those unborn. This is supported by the fact they are on record as supporting abortion.
So if you believe global warming is a crisis, believe in abortion and have little regards for moral matters then you probably end up being in favor of forced abortions. It is perfectly logical (immoral but logical) based on their worldview. Biden was just caught telling the truth or should I say - his truth.
I would cut him some slack if the son of a bitch had not lied and defamed the poor truck driver who was also killed in the accident.
I have no sympathy for that lying son of a bitch.
Hey Joe, waddya think of their concentration camps?
So the controversy is that he said china’s forced abortion is repugnant? I am failing to see how that’s bad. It is disgustingly repugnant. I can see how people would use his pro abortion stance here against him, but as horrific as it is here in the states, it is not forced...If I am mis-characterizing what happened, please explain.
so he’s against it after he was for it?
The official reason given for Obama choosing Biden for VP was Biden’s Foreign Policy credentials.
With judgment like that, who could deny Obama a second term as President
Two words: Impeachment Insurance.
I recall him once telling a room full of “Journolists” that he was smarter than any of them.
Well, maybe he was right that time but, generally speaking, he’s giving morons a bad name!
Just like he didn’t call the TEA party terrorists!
