So sad. It breaks my heart.
Believe me when I tell that I would have dumped my house already if it wasn’t for my dogs and chickens!
We go without so our animals are fed.
Thanks for posting that....I hadn’t seen it. The best of the best...prayers for their families.
It is a measure of the barbarity of our enemy in this war that they and their religion hate dogs.
RIP Petty Officer Jon Tumilson and all the brave men who died with him on that tragic day. May their families be comforted.
I've always felt dogs sense the treachery of Muzzies, too. It's like Tribbles and Klingons.
RIP
Special Warfare Operator Petty Officer 1st Class, Jon Tumlinson, SEAL, USN
My computer screen has become blurry again. You should provide a warning! :-)
I have 18 dogs, all but 3 I rescued some way or another. I gave the first rescue the name Lucky mostly because I didn’t think I would get anymore like that. They are all well fed, get proper medical treatment and have room to run and be dogs.
As for loyalty, I had a German Shorthaired Pointer back in the 80’s & 90’s. Everytime I needed to cross the country for work my folks would take her. Finally my folks moved up to be closer and told me to bring Lucy home to them and she lived with them about a year an half before my father passed away. When I got that call, she was right there by his side in the room with him. When the funeral home came to pick him up Lucy led them out the door and walked him to the car why we all just stood on the porch. I had to call her back when she went to get in the car with him...
I forgot to mention that my sorrow for this fallen hero... My apologies
Thanks for that great post.
I agree. I don’t know why. I have no information. But something is very rotten in Denmark!
Good lord...I know the feeling, believe me. I put two Beagles down a month apart about ten years ago, one 13, the other 12. That’s how/why we have the Lab and the Beagle I lost last year.
I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember breathing. Always will, too.
You take the pain because it’s worth the love. That pain lets you know you’re human. So does the love.
RE SZonian: “...God gave man dogs so he could always be reminded of what love and loyalty are all about...”
THAT is beautiful, brother... and I’ve never heard a truer phrase to describe dogs.
As far as why SEAL Tumilson died...he died doing something he believed in, for a country and a people he loved. At the time and place of his own choosing, he was doing exactly what he wanted to do.
That’s about the best way to go that any of us could ever hope for.
Hey Boots...
Complete agreement there, brother. And I hope to God there are Patriots looking into the entire circumstances surrounding this and finding out every shred of evidence.
;)
Dogs are here to show us how we ought to act towards God.
Cats are here to show us how we do.
God, my heart aches...
Such love and devotion from his best friend.
God bless him and welcome him home.
I hate this CIC with a passion.
I wonder if some of the terrorists have a pet goat lay down at the dump where they throw their bodies?
I am getting tired of losing our great solders to these wars. Level the damn countries and take them over. Screw the civilians. Our soldiers are best in the world. God bless them and their families for their sacrifices.
