The approach that assisting all communities helps African-Americans get jobs is a bunch of bull, Rep. Laura Richardson (D-Calif.) said, according to the Post. Later, she asked Graves whether he would help shuttle dozens of pieces of jobs legislation authored by CBC members to the president so he could enact them using executive authority. That's racist! And I don't mean that as a joke.

No, it is not! I was taught in college that it is not possible for a person of color to be a racist, only white people have the political and economic power to be racist.

CA-35 (Waters’ district) is slightly less than 30% black; it is actually majority hispanic. The new CA-43 is only 24% black.
CA-37 (Richardson’s) is only 22% black; 49% hispanic.
Richardson herself I don’t think is more than 50% black.
The new CA-44 is something like 17% black.
