Wow, I guess I am dumb, but I thought FR was more open-minded than I am reading here. If an article is about Palin, no other candidate can be mentioned? People can’t support some of the Republican candidates or they will get kicked off FR? I have made a monthly contribution for a number of years, but some of these comments are chilling. I will try to overlook this as an anomaly, but if I run across stuff like this, I may reconsider my contribution, small as it is...
If you come to this thread to start a fight, I will end it for you.
Sorry, I don’t like or trust sneaky, backstabbing RINO supporters.
I think the issue here is that a certain poster is "spamming" Palin threads. Check out this link here and you will see the exact wording as her post in reply #2 of this thread.
So the only drawing I can conclude from this is that this poster is just trying to stir up trouble on Palin threads to boost her candidate. I don't think anybody has issue with people coming to any thread to state their opinion in an intelligent manner and in their own words but when they are spamming the forum with the same "boilerplate" text, well I don't think that is a practice we should encourage.
Come on, give it a break. The point of the thread is Palin setting the record straight on her announcement plans. Its not good net edicate to begin the thread saying hey, dump her go to my cantidate, and its worse to hassle the guy that put up the server for the thread about how he runs it.
Its not about what you cannot post, its about trying to herd cats and keep a topic on topic. Have you ever seen the jackboot limit on speech here? Hard to have an intellegent discussion if someone or two decides to post flack to jam the conversation.
I’m thinking the same. FR is getting a little too narrow-minded for me.
Being able to post a link to an article within a post was something I thought was rather nice. It’s just quicker then going through the whole posting routine.
Of course I try to apologize to the poster for doing it. Never had a problem.
I just read this thread today Aug. 28. I may reconsider my contributions also.
