I was hoping to go on the tour with the TPX, but Sheila can’t bear the thought of another 3 week cross country tour in our crowded little minivan, loading and unloading all of our gear every night and looking for suitable handicapped public toilets along the way. So, I’ve been looking for a handicap RV so we can bring our own beds and toilet along with us and don’t have to pack our gear in and out of hotels every night. Finally found one I can afford at $35k for a 2004 36 footer with only 20,000 miles and a factory installed wheelchair lift and roll-in shower, and hope to pick it up next week if I can arrange financing. This will be our Free Republic Tea Party Bus if we get it. And, if we get it in time, we’ll be able to catch up with the TPX tour before it gets to Florida. If not, we may fly out for the event.

OH WOW, Jim, that RV sounds absolutely perfect for you and Sheila! I hope and pray you’ll be able to get it.

I just talked with my daughter from the Cayman’s and it looks like everything will come together for me to go and to join you all in Tampa! I can meet her in Tampa on 9/8/11 and drive with her to Orlando to visit with my little grandson who’s living the Children’s Devereax Diagnostic Center, and then return with her to Tampa on the morning of the 12th, when she has to catch her plane back to Grand Cayman!
