The students are being used by a handful of radical adult activists with an agenda, who are employing classic Alinsky tactics to force through their extremist agenda.

Identified in the linked article as being two board members of the TUSD named Grijalva and Burns. I assume the former is the notorious Congressman Raul Grijalva.

tucson is a university town with lots of hippie dropouts.

also, there is the residue from the unions and copper mines.

add a new york jewish community of 6%

and you’ve got radical left. even some of the churches are socialist.

The article only briefly mentioned one of the most egregious abuses, that teachers would be assigned to such classes, but not permitted to teach them. Instead non-credentialed radical outsiders would take over the class to indoctrinate the children.

Yet if anything bad happened, the assigned teachers would be blamed.
