More than 2,000 angry Egyptians broke down barriers at Israels embassy in Cairo, burned Israeli flags and raised the Egyptian flag, backing up demands by the provisional military governments cabinet that Egypt expel Israels ambassador.
Egyptian police outside the embassy did not try to prevent the crowd from pulling down the Israeli flag from the embassy..

These are the same scumbags that bought pizza for the union maggots who were protesting and destroying the state capitol in Madison. How 'bout that "arab spring"? "Democracy" is busting out all over!

And aren’t we glad they got rid of Mubarak.....

The Egyptians are and always have been putty in the hands of violent, insane and maniacal leaders. They did not prevent (and maybe even participated in) the murderous attack on Israeli civilians last week and now they have the gall to blame Israel, riot against Israel and attack her embassy in Cairo. The Arabs (Palis included) are incapable of thinking and advancing civilization. Now they want to tear up the Camp David Agreement?? didn't they have enough warfare 1948-1978???

Oh dear, oh dear.
Even though I am a staunch Republican, I never really bought into the concept of the world needs a strong American president.
Even though I lived through Carter.
I was wrong, I was just wrong.
This man Obama is bringing the entire world to a point of conflagration.
And yet, he golfs.
This is going to be one long brutal 14 months until we get to election day 2012.
And if this Obama isn’t tossed out....well I don’t even want to THINK about that.

Sooooo, did the recent foreign relations moves save the European economy after all? [Little sarcasm there about Lawrence of Arabia fantasies and all of that.]

Being strong is only effective if you are willing to exert that strength with deadly force and if you are willing to demonstrate that you are willing to annihilate the bad guys.

In the past this sort of riot was orchestrated by the governing Arab Socialist Union and protected by the police and the Army. If the military is still running the show in Egypt, as claimed, then this is a strong indication that it wants an end to the peace agreement with Israel. And if that is the case, then the USA should cease its annual $2 billion payment to Egypt which is given to keep the peace.

Thank you dear leader Zero !

Where is the media coverage? Progressives should be celebrating their victory. This is the “Arab Spring” they have been waiting for. Youths in the streets protesting for democracy. Progressives have not experienced this kind of success since their victory in Rhodesia.

Bears repeating.
IMHO if there were holes on the map / glass in the middle east on 9/12, the world would be a much better, more stable place today.

Thanks Nachum.
More than 2,000... burned Israeli flags and raised the Egyptian flag... Egyptian police outside the embassy did not try to prevent the crowd from pulling down the Israeli flag from the embassy...
Job one, blow the Aswan dam. 99% of the Egytian population lives within six feet of the river level. Makes calling up troops pretty hard when there's no one answering their phone.

Sacking an embassy and cutting down a flag is the tradition declaration of war in the region.
