Opposing contraception is a basic part of the pro-life cause. That’s why most people who call themselves pro-life are not really pro-life. And true pro-life ideas are not repulsive to any reasoning person. You’re just not a reasoning person.
Your cause, man, not "the cause." If this is where being against abortion leads, you have just pounded the last nail in the conservative coffin. Conservatism is now officially dead. It cannot survive having this kind of backward ignorance on our side.
This has nothing to do with getting the government out of our lives. Go join the liberals. You are much more in their spirit of running peoples lives. You have a plan. They have a plan. You don't get it. We cannot survive central planning, whether in God's name or in Satan's name or Mao's name. It all leads to the same death of freedom and personal responsibility.
