I am a REAL immigrant

I have been in the US for 40 years last Saturday...

Lets look again at the REAL process...

When I decided I wanted to immigrate to the US I applied to the American Embassy and was given a list of requirements that I had to satisfy..

These included a complete medical from the top of my head to the bottoms of my feet and all points in between (paid for by me)

a blood test to check for any diseases or illnesses
a chest xray to check for TB etc (paid for by me)
a small pox shot (paid for by me)
Fees (paid for by me)
Prove I had the equivilant of $US1,000 (to live on until I got my Green Card or to pay my own way home if I was deported.)
a criminal background check etc

documents filled out and sworn to and signed by me which included

*a statement that I understood if I applied for welfare etc or benefits of any kind from the US government I would be deported

*a statement that I understood if I committed a felony I WOULD be deported

*a statement that I understood that if I commit any misdemeanor I COULD be deported

*a statement that I understood I must not work until I received my Alien Registration Card (Green Card)or I WOULD be deported

etc
etc
etc

After jumping through ever required hoop I entered the US on August 13, 1971

BTW I wish that Mark Davis who guest hosted for Rush yesterday had not said he agreed with everything that caller at about 1PM EST told him

The guy was reciting some costs etc and he mentioned needing a lawyer to become a US citizen...

He was wrong...but Mark Davis didnt catch it or didnt know..

only illegal aliens ever use so called “immigration attorneys”

REAL immigrants are here legally...we havent broken any immigration laws so we dont need a lawyer...

Someone needs to tell Mark Davis that ...
