Sarah talks about GOP race to the White House
At 16:38 into the interview Greta VanSusteren asks Sarah Palin about entering the race -- any closer, why going to Iowa??
Sarah Palin talks about her next appearance at an inaugural tea party event in Iowa Sept 3rd and how she plans to continue doing a lot of traveling.
Greta asks again, with some exasperation, saying this is "an awful tease" and you're driving the media mad, so would she please give a little hint (paraphrasing).
Sarah Palin said she's still contemplating whether to jump in or not and then told Greta, you don't need a title to make a difference or hold office to make a difference - I am proof of that as are millions of other Americans -- wants to explain to other Americans how we can all be apart of the solution - empower individuals, not wait for government to do it for us.

Greta VanSusteren has been a good media friend and outlet for Sarah Palin.
Palin’s timing her run masterfully.
But you’re right about Greta having been a good friend to her.
I get the impression she does not plan to throw her hat in the ring and run for the presidency.

Everyone who is not in love with Bush2 and can think straight got the exact opposite impression.
Gov. Rick Perry:.....>>>And Ill promise you this: Ill work every day to make Washington, D.C. as inconsequential in your life as I can. And at the same time, well be freeing our families and small businesses and states from the burdensome and costly federal government so those groups can create, innovate and succeed.
I believe in America. I believe in Her purpose and Her promise. I believe Her best days have not yet been lived. I believe Her greatest deeds are reserved for the generations to come. With the help and the courage of the American people, we will get our country working again. God bless you and God bless the United States of America. Perry's presidential announcement speech

RICK PERRY:
FIRST: "Don't spend all the money!"
SECOND: "Have a fair and predictable tax and regulatory policy!"
THIRD: "Have a legal system that doesn't allow for over suing and make loser pay!"
Like when I posted this? (among many over the years)
Whether Sarah runs or not, there are going to be many people who will be disappointed. IMHO, she should run. The left and MSM would be so upset, if she does run, and that would be interesting to watch.
They’re delivering a similar message at this point, so the look has to be at their total records.
I know you prefer Perry’s and I prefer Palin’s.
Sarah Palin appears to be sincere about wanting to see a sign from God about what she can do to influence the 2012 races to the good. And she’s at peace either way.
For her boosters though, it’s a nailbiter. And her lack of any campaign promises aimed at 2012 means a large hole in her potential support.
In the meantime, maybe it’s not a divine sign, but it seems to be a pretty good human sign of potential voter intensity that she’s leading Obama and potential rival GOP contenders in T shirt sales.
If your golden goose is choking, stop strangling it....
His official propaganda site unfortunately doesn’t list all the crony capitalism he’s governed by—though some of his worst legislation demonstrates it perfectly.
I’ll take the accomplished reformer, thank you.
Folks no one makes a decision willy-nilly or on the spur of the moment to run for President.
Do you really believe Palin hasn’t made up her mind yet?
C’mon. Palin has been planning a run either from the end of the 2008 campaign or after she resigned. Take your pick.
All the rest is getting her ducks in a row and strategy.
The ball is way too far down the road now for Palin not to launch.
I don’t get cable so that picture is startling—what the heck happened to Greta?
I’m suspecting Palin isn’t going to run if only because there is only so far one can do with this build-up. I think she has every right to enter the race whenever she pleases due to the plusses she has—name rcognition, etc.—but that’s a double-edged sword. It’s pointless to keep telling people that just because WE love her or at least respect and like her here it doesn’t mean that 3 years of nonstop, vile bashing by all media sources doesn’t have some impact. And the simple fact is, personal opinions about Palin blind folks to the larger picture.
If She chooses not to run, at this point I'll go with Perry.
I was leaning toward Michele Bachmann but she keeps stepping on her own lines provided by her staff.
I'm not an elvis fan and had no idea when his date of birth or death were, but if I were going to use any throw away lines, I'd know with certainty, that the facts were correct.
The staffer that came up with the wrong info would be fired and the world would know it.
Here is a better picture of Greta
I can't think of any reason that she would benefit from all this if she isn't planning on running. The media attention certainly wouldn't change, since they'd be hounding her for an endorsement, and there isn't any scandal brewing amongst the other candidates that needs deflecting.
For somebody who is going to run, these are the types of answers I would expect. The Liberals may be clever at a lot of things but they haven't quite grasped the first rule of warfare, never underestimate your opponent. Their narcissism prevents them from understanding this and Sarah plays it beautifully against them.
How is this cleverness going to turn into votes?
From what I've personally seen, there is great coordination among Tea Party supporters arranging for transportation to the event from states a thousand miles away.
