Governor Palin’s September 3rd Iowa Speech Has Been Moved to Indianola, Iowa
C4P ^ | 8/18/2011

Posted on 08/18/2011 6:51:08 PM PDT by curth

We have been notified by the Tea Party of America–the Iowa-based event hosts of the Restoring America Rally with Sarah Palin on September 3rd–that they have decided to move the venue to a nearby location that better accommodates every eventuality. While the Hawkeye Antique Acres was a wonderful location, concerns had arisen with parking, especially in the event of inclement weather.

The new location–the Indianola Balloon Grounds just south of Des Moines–has all of the quintessentially rural charm of the original site, but none of the logistical challenges.

The event will still be held from 11 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Labor Day Weekend, September 3rd, 2011.

An updated flyer announcing the event–with the site change information–has been distributed. We continue to encourage everyone who can to attend this historic event. Note that this new location is close enough to the original site that any travel plans should not be affected.

We’ll be keeping you informed with our new series, Road To Indianola.

And before anyone say anything...it’s moved to a larger event that can hold upwards of 20,000. Late word came that the emergency service are expecting a huge crowd and the other location won’t be able to handle such a crowd

She said she wouldn’t be a candidate when she gets to Iowa for this speech. She didn’t say she wouldn’t be a candidate when she leaves. This just may be the day. 20,000 Tea Partiers screaming Run Sarah Run would be deafening. Hearing her say “I’m in , game on” would be the sound heard round the world.

Check my tagline. It's official.

Obama drew 7k there for Dungheap Harkin’s steak fry in 2007. That gives Sarah a useful target for comparison. If she really wants to go big then topping the total straw poll attendance would be really impressive.

GO SARAH GO!

Get the bumper sticker here.

She's a game changer and will be able to immediately enter the dialog directly with Obama as Perry is doing. Tag teaming the Marxist with his own record, abysmal failures, leftist policies, and econimic ruin.

None of the logistical challenges? Have they ever been there? It’s is a nightmare to get to.

Just prepared for the LSM ,assorted liberal and Rove Republican sources and your run of the mill trolls to announce the crowd as being in the “hundreds”, no matter how large the turnout. They’d say the same thing even if it were held in a full Michigan Stadium (capacity 109,901)

The new location–the Indianola Balloon Grounds...
That sounds like a GREAT place to bring your giant "American Flag" balloon, eh - abner?
What are you guys doing for the Labor Day weekend?

I’m going to make an attempt. I don’t sit in a line of cars or look for a parking spot for more than ten minutes before I turn around and go home.
