I’m voting for Christie even if that means he “isn’t conservative enough.” Want to know why? Because he’s a LOT more conservative than Obama will ever be in his lifetime.

At some point that thinking will mean the destruction of the Republic. We can't afford a RINO now or for the next three election cycles if we hope to salvage the country because we are that close to utter destruction and it's going to take a real conservative to fix the mess, so we cannot afford to have a "Christie" or his type of Republican (Romney) messing around taking half measures and making things worse in other ways.

And you think allowing Obama to win again DOESN’T also contribute to the destruction of the Republican? You can’t have it both ways in this theory you are trying to create.

There are no “pure” candidates and sometimes the reality is that the lesser of two evils is a LOT better than the evil of letting the other guy win. A LOT better.

What you are describing is the perfect, Utopian world but we all know the world doesn’t work that way.
