>> “There has not been one shred of data showing her doing that” <<

.
Absolutely false.

The media attack on Palin is based on a series of polls starting in september 2008, and continuing through to date. Their polls show massive support for Palin in the middle that is based in the very most likely voters: those that have not missed an election since the day they registered.

That is the group that they use when they want the correct answer, rather than push poll propaganda. Those polls are never released to the public, or even to rank and file media employees. They are used in their attempt to shape opinion.

Furthermore, with Obama's Approval at 39% nationally do you really believe a poll that has these type of numbers?

OBAMA APPROVAL
Approval 47%
Disapproval 49%

Ras has him at 43% approval. Seems possible that he's a little higher in Iowa.

It's not clear to me why Gallup and Ras differ as much as they do. Ras acutally uses a more conservative sample.

Really does't matter much does it?

The sampling on the poll you presented on all accounts is completely out of sync with reality on the ground in Iowa.

The Number of Men vs. Women, Obama's popularity, GOP vs. Dem and Independent were all skewed.

Your protest is underwhelming. Palin stood toe to toe with Biden while 50 million Americans watched. The debates are a worthless exercise that prove NOTHING.

Uh, she hasn't announced she is running (yet) so why should she be in the current debates?

Also with very little effort, one can Google and see her debates in the Alaska governor's race, both primary and general.

It is wonderful to watch her smiling while deftly slashing up her opposition, who did not even realize they had received their politcal death blows, until one and all they bled out.

“Kevin Dujan: At their highest levels, Democrats and Republicans are often in cahoots, because the elite on either side has a vested interest in protecting their counterparts across the aisle. Governor Palin doesn’t care about any of these people, and would certainly enjoy booting them all out of power, since she’s never benefitted from any of this sycophancy and cronyism. And never will, clearly. The establishment hates her, she hates them, and Governor Palin wouldn’t have it any other way.”

That was my favorite quote from the article too.

I have no problem with her waiting a while longer, but for me personally mid September is the drop dead date for her entering.

Based on what premises? That would still be 14 months from the elections. What authority do you have to set schedules and deadlines for presidential candidates?

As for the original article, I disagree that the mainstream left-wing media turned on Hillary Clinton. They always did and still do suck up to her. She was never vetted in the manner that Sarah Palin got vetted.

Well, I don’t think jumping in the race in Sept is at the last minute...there will be plenty of debates before that.

Your comment is complete ignorance. Iowa and NH will probably be in January and South Carolina’s primary, the next on the calendar will be held in February. By middle of next year, we will know who are the candidates for each party. Good grief...get a calendar and look at it.

Whether you like it or not Palin has been successfully demonized by the media over the last few years.

The only way she can overcome what she has been portrayed as is to PROVE that it’s a lie. She can only do that by performing well in the debates against the others.

If she thinks she can just jump in a few weeks before the first primaries and skip having to prove herself against the others that are running, she’s got another thing coming.

Even I wont vote for her unless I see her perform well in the debates, especially against Romney. And I am a strong supporter of hers. I don’t know a single person who likes Palin as much as I do, because everyone else has been swayed by the media’s coverage of her. It may be unfair, but she doesn’t have a chance in heck of winning without changing A LOT of peoples minds. And ads and stump speeches alone is not going to cut it.

The #1 reason she’s engaged in a stealth campaign for the Republican nomination is because she's waiting for the plastic surgery to heal.

I hope she has learned, and she's all you guys think she is.

But after Bush, I've learned not to talk myself into believing politicians are more than they've shown themselves to be or have great qualities that have escaped notice up until now.

Obama is yet another lesson: supporters work themselves up into believing candidates are something they really aren't.

Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised by Sarah, but if I'm not, you guys may be disappointed.

Reagan never entered til November. He did just fine... and the thing he got coming...he won!

I wouldn't fret about Palins's plans...she's held her own and then some without our advice or comments....and her timing has been perfect....not forgetting of course she understands this elction (war) and knows well when to strike and when to hunker down.

Oh, yeah, she would have been SOOOOO much more presidential and financially responsible to have gotten into the contest at the earliest possible moment in order to spend the most possible money and time telling everyone what everyone who has any memory of the last campaign already knows she believes.
