There are a lot of ninnys out there who think that unless they can see the driver’s hands at 2 and 10 (or 9 and 3, depending on when they learned to drive) that driver is automatically “unsafe”.

Best solution is when distracted driving is a secondary offense. Those who have proved their multitasking incompetence through another violation are the only ones who need to worry.

Taking their eyes off the road just makes it a matter of time.

Most people can carry on a conversation with a passenger without taking their eyes off the road.
