The press corps has a mild buzz going about a weekend contretemps ginned up, for publicity's sake, by Sarah Palin's camp, in her ongoing campaign to show how badly she is victimized by the media. The odd thing is that she has been victimized by the media, horribly so, and many of us (myself included, in several posts after the Gabby Giffords shooting) have rushed to her defense -- so she doesn't need to gin up controversies out of thin air. But that's exactly what she and her team did this past weekend.

I asked questions to better understand why you post all manner of snide and disparaging remarks about Palin as your posting history shows, act catty toward her and her family and supporters and just generally don’t contribute anything positive on a site the boss calls “Palin Country” and has 87% of the members being Palin supporters?

I have to admit - I do like the way she screws with the media. A few candidates could learn from her within this respect. They don't know they're in a shell game. It's kind of funny.
I gotta be honest. If there are people on this site left that think that by posting Palin hit pieces that they are doing anything but making her support even greater, they are mistaken.
That said, if the hit pieces are in context... that is to say, if they are posted so we can see what’s brewing in leftie-land, that IMO is a good thing.

It sure isn’t going to make one supporter change their mind , that’s for sure. You’re right, it does keep us up to snuff on what the scum left and Rove Republican scum wing on the right are up to. I wouldn’t mind reading the hit pieces without the local roaches adding commentary, though it is amusing sometimes to watch some of these nuts act like asses. Then again,maybe they aren’t acting.
