Let me ask you though: is it OK for the generations after the Boomers to get screwed out of those entitlements as well, and be saddled with the debt, as long as the Boomers get theirs?
The sad truth is millions of Americans have "paid into" this Ponzi scheme for the last 3 generations. There is no money there. There is no "trust fund." There is no "lock box." It wasn't "invested" anywhere.
They spent it.
We now have $14.6 Trillion on this debt clock, and winding up even faster.

I know entitlement queens who will scratch your face off rather than even discuss changing the Cost of Living increases (as the Paul Ryan plan did) so that the programs can be rendered solvent.
This can't go on.
He can start with ObamaCare to see if he’s for real.
We paid for the “Greatest Generation,” most of whom did not pay into SS all their lives.
The very first wave of Boomers are starting to retire now, and since they were not the overwhelming Bambi voters that the young were, they’re expendable.
If the SS fund had used that money properly, this wouldn’t be a problem. But I can bet you that this is not what Obama wants.
He doesn’t want the money put out of the reach of the Federal Government and invested, and he doesn’t want the hordes of SSI receivers (alcoholics, drug users, and sometimes even for things like “working gives me a migraine,” I kid you not) dumped from SS.
He doesn’t want to prevent his homies and his lobbyists and medical appliance companies and corrupt doctors from collecting billions in fraudulent payments from Medicare, or impose a modest co-pay on the low-income folks that might prevent them from regarding a $1,000 trip to the emergency room for a head cold to be a natural right.
He doesn’t want to reform anything in the way it should be done. He wants to install Obamacare to replace Medicare, and he simply wants to get rid of people who might logically expect to collect something from the retirement system into which they have paid all their lives.
I am an early Boomer. I am receiving Social Security. That SS will do me no good when the dollar is worth nothing which must be shortly. Social Security should be ended. At least those under 50 should be cut off from payments and receiving it. Ideally we would all be cut off. End the damned thing. And Medicare, too, along with all the rest of the entitlements. Put the USA back on a survival track, survival with liberty.
Get back the welfare to work program, and take the able-bodied frauds off SS and make them go through the program. Those who have never paid a premium in their life should find another program to leech off of. Other wise, these people will continue to reap everyone elses harvest, and those who faithfully paid will suffer because of it.
