Why does Palin have such support? Maybe its because she is not an "elite" politician. She reminds people of the gal next door. She talks to people, not down to people. She listens to Americans, and she knows what they want from their government. Palin has power that scares both democrats and moderate republicans. She does not fit the mold for either party.

Really??? Go up to Iowa and tell her face to face, and cam-cord it and post it on youtube for us.
Sarah Palin:
1) brilliant problem solver
2) true promise keeper
3) courageous fighter
To all voters, of any party—take a look at Washington DC, and the at state of our nation. Now open the door to common sense. That’s all I ask.
Sorry I don’t understand what you are asking or saying.
I find it amusing that now that the left-wing media doesn’t think Palin is running, they are giving her some positive coverage (CNN story). They use her to attack Bachmann saying, Bachmann is no Palin. Palin should hold out as long as she can.
stillafreemind, I feel the same way.
Agreed. All the spin coming out the Perry camp reminds me of every other politician I watched in the last decade... all talk.
Palin is just damn refreshing.
Did you see her with Hannity at the fair? That crowd was hanging on every word she spoke. The truth is a hard thing to get out of your ear once it’s been spoken.
I prefer Palin over Perry, but if Perry is our candidate I’m fine with that. Obama has got to go, and I think Perry can beat him. I don’t think Bachmann or Romney can.
I thought is was very clear. You really want Palin to run you say. Only one person can make that happen, HER. Go talk to her about it. Give HER your reasons. Let's see how she responds. I will root for you if you do it!
I don’t think Perry is all talk because he can rightly point to a really good record in Texas - however - he’s got some questionable positions that I need to check out before I can say I really support him. They did pass “loser pays” in Texas which I think is a big deal - along with the economy there.
However, if I could be the one to choose our next POTUS it would be Sarah. I think she has the vision, the experience, the practical grounding in work ethic, and is an amazing leader.
Sadly, common sense has no place in the current world of liberal feeeeeeeeeeelings.
If Palin has such “power,” why did she allow the left to drive her out of office in Alaska? Can you imagine Rick Perry allowing the left to drive him out of office the way Palin did? He finished-off Kay Bailey quite handily while Palin quit. Palin’s supporters are putting her on a pedestal. She can still become a seasoned leader, as Ronald Reagan was before he ran for President, but she needs time.
“Palin Has the Power for a Presidential Run!”
Of course she does but until she gets in, it’s just wishful thinking. She risks being this years’ Fred Thompson if she stays out much longer. Yeah, all the grassroots conservatives love ya but the donors have all comitted to other candidates.
It is my feeling as each day passes that she is not getting into this race.
Perry’s a macaca moment waiting to happen. Don’t think he’ll make it to a one-on-one with Obama.
Every group she addresses is like that. I love that she can draw spontaneous crowds that dwarf the king’s astroturfed union gangs.
Resigning was an insurmountable blunder....
There was a good write-up the other day about how a Palin run, regardless of how well she would or wouldn’t do, would benefit conservatism. The gist being that her presence would bring a lot of eyes and attention to the race that otherwise wouldn’t be on it. Where, the conservative message would be articulated and on display, available to convince more of the electorate. Made some sense, especially after witnessing that dreary Fox debate, which didn’t particularly portend good things.
>>> Palin Has the Power for a Presidential Run!
As did Pat Buchanan. What’s her point?
Anybody with the filing fee “Has the Power for a Presidential Run”. But that doesn’t necessarily say they should spend much time writing their inaugural address.
