What are they looking at in that first picture that warranted expressions on their faces like that?

First of all, nothing warrented expressions like that on a POTUS and FLOTUS anywhere- much less at a formal British function.

I think that they donned these expressions when the queen and Phillip arrived for dinner at Winfield House in London, May 25, 2011.

This phoot absolutely boggles the mind. Don't you know the royalty had plenty to say when they saw these expressions?
