All sorts of whackos were in my sleepy little town of Cannon Falls today. The area he was speaking in was surrounded by school buses to hide him from the crowds. Hillsides were guarded by police and secret service. Only way to see him was if you had one of the tickets given out yesterday.
Interesting thing about the tickets was that there was supposed to be 500 for the locals to get-first come, first served. The local news said that about 120 were handed out before the crowds were turned away. Wonder what happened to the extra tickets?
Anyways, the faithful all came in from out of town and trashed the city halls front yard, our beautiful river park (Hannahs Bend), left trash downtown, and then took off for their out of town homes.
I am sure that you can imagine the type of Obama extremist that would spend the time hiding in the bushes and porta-potties hoping to be first in line to get a ticket to see The One. VERY few of the people of Cannon Falls got a ticket. Most of them were kids who thought it was cool to have any president in our town.
While it was exciting to have a sitting president come to our little town, I could have picked a better one. I also wish the inconsiderate liberal goons would have stayed out of our town.
Reserved for the local union thugs and rent a crowds to make it look like people actually like this idiot.
Maybe a group selling mirrors and instructions about bending
over cornered the market. How much is a fair price for seeing a bunghole?
probably couldn’t get the ink to stick to the the $100 billls that it would take for anyone to accept one...
The buses were more likely to provide protection. When W visited Valley Forge, they brought in 2 dozen DOT dump trucks to shield the perimeter facing a large wooded hill.
Any idea of the actual crowd size?
What those of you who watch msm TV will see on the news tonite are camera shots and angles to make whatever group was there look like "a large crowd of hundreds turned out to cheer....blah, blah, blah".
One wonders what really happened.
You probably needed your DNC “Special Operative” card.....or a note from your psychoanalyst in order to receive a pass...;)
The buses were used to ship in paid attendees. They used up all the tickets.
Standard Operating Procedure for the Won.
Sorry Dan - that didn’t come out right. Not “your” DNC card!
Only way to see him was if you had one of the tickets given out yesterday
Were they golden tickets?
Thanks for the firsthand.
One thing that baffles me about the Left, and it seems to be a universal - why do they ALWAYS leave trash all over the place?
May be scant media coverage. The adoring crowd was the media. Hard to take pictures and genuflect at the same time.
The other tickets went to people who volunteered to bring brooms and shovels to sweep up the BS from the streets after he left.
Because liberals ARE trash?
Most of the locals were just star struck and looking for a chance to see a celebrity from the news in town. Could have been GW or Obama and it would have gotten the same reaction from our town.
The out of towners were the goons. "People were just milling about, and I asked them to form a line," she said. "Minnesotans like lines. I'm from New Jersey, so we were able to push ourselves to the front of the line." http://postbulletin.com/news/stories/display.php?id=1463797
Because they lack any responsibility, have inflated opinions of their status, think rules don't apply to them and are used to having the government clean up after them. Any other questions? -Smile-
Did anyone get a good picture of the School Buses circled around The Won?
Very possible the buses provided protection. I never saw so many police cars (many from surrounding communities), black suits, black suburbans, helicopters, even a police boat was on our little river. Like it or not, he is our president and as such is given the best protection possible.
