You said...."Education does not equal indoctrination!" Then you have no problem with the Liberal/Socialist agenda being taught in our schools and colleges?

That's not really a logical comparison. Reading a book on Catholicism is not the same as being sent to Catholic school and going to mass on Thursdays as part of your curriculum. I studied Mandarin Chinese and PRC order of battle in the Army, for that matter. That doesn't mean the U.S. Army expected me to embrace Maoist/Leninist thought. Sometimes, you have to know what your dealing with in detail, though.

Other times, it's just political inoculation. Give yourself a fig leaf of tolerance, while avoiding the more far reaching mistakes of your predecessors. Please reference my posts in 364 and 367 if that's your concern.

Steel Wolf:

Some people just prefer to remain ignorant.

I, on the other hand, prefer to expose myself to all sorts of belief systems including *gasp* Islam. We enjoyed our time in the Middle East and feel we are richer and better people for it. I pity small, closed minded individuals.

I’ll add to the blasphemy and admit I do Yoga too ;-)
