you didn’t read her book then....if you did you will see that she is no lazy person and is the most relentless, restless person out there. Did you know that she spent nearly 9 hours out there at the Fair Friday among the people? Most candidates would do maybe 1 hour perhaps 2 out among the people!!!!!!!

I'm sure you say the same thing every time a Perry or a Bachmann supporter personally attacks a critique critic of their candidate, right? And don't tell me Perry supporters and Bachmann supporters don't do that.

Sorry....what “critique” of Palin are you referring to? The post that elicited the rude and juvenile reply that I read was a an opinion, not a critique.

Sorry, I meant "critic".

I don’t intend to tell you anything about Perry or Bachmann supporters. This thread is about Sarah Palin. Have a nice evening.

Your answer is a cop out. Yes this thread is about Palin. But then you then made it about Palin supporters, which is fine. But then when I point out to you that the same thing that you complain about with Palin supporters also happens with Bachmann and Perry supporters, you avoid the point.

My point stands.

Have a good evening, too.

It looks to me that you would rather be lied to, rather than someone taking their time to make a decision. Just because you want an answer NOW!

My point was not to begrudge anyone time to make a decision. It was that IMO she has known her decision for some time-- and that her continuing to claim otherwise has been a disappointment to me.

I am sorry if I was not clear.

if she ran and lost but did not embarass himself a la Dole or McCain, it would enhance her future.

It would be “her turn” in 2016 or 2020!

And he’s got a couple of new grandbabies to enjoy. Mr. Palin won’t be getting claustrophobia or homesickness in the white house. His options would be nearly limitless and he’d look a hell of a lot better planting and tending a garden than the current first spouse. No boob belts for him.

Where to begin.

Let's see...

You don't know if Palin has decided yet.

Candidates who decide to run don't immediately announce that they are running. Instead what they do, is they pick a day to announce, a day they think is the best strategic date.

This is all common sense really. I see from your tag line that you are for Cain. That's fine. But I would suggest that you try to use a little more objectivity before you criticize candidates that you are not for.

Not trying to flame you. Just sayin'.

I can think of one reason Palin won’t announce this week or next: Dick Cheney’s memoir will be released on Aug 30 and it might steal some thunder! Media will be on it like Palin email.

A Palin announcement might steal HIS thunder, too :)

There’s an amazon page for it already, with a blatant error about the author being actor Edward Hermann. (Supposedly he does the audio narration.)

Figure when the Cheney blitz dies down, she will announce.

Great analysis.

What really convinces me she’s running is her obvious honesty and fine character. The MSM has FAILED to dig up any dirt on her because of these moral attributes. Those same qualities convinces me she would not lead on her supporters just to make more money, or to satisfy some kind of ego trip..

She’s running....

Right, HalfFull. It all comes down ot character in the final analysis. Sarah Palin has it. That is obvious. It is why her supporters trust her enough to let her make her own decisions on her own schedule. I haven’t seen a level of trust close to this since Reagan who also could inspire such confidence because he had such self evident character.

She is running because she has too much honor and too great a sense of duty to do otherwise. God go with her!

Sorry, I've never been personally insulted by a supporter of Herman Cain or Michelle Bachmann because I didn't support their candidate. I've never been called a liberal by a Santorum supporter, or a leftist by Pawlenty's folks.

The vitriol is pretty exclusive to Palin supporters who have adopted and ramped up the tactics from 2007-08 Romney followers.

Try doubting Palin's perfection on any thread and see what happens. Just try it.

The best reply I've heard is "only homos don't support Palin"; see if you can top that one.

Sorry, I've criticized Palin on various topics. I haven't had any problems.

Now shall I give you a few links to Perry threads, where if you criticize Perry, the long knives come out?

No it isn't.

Go ahead. Show me some links where Perry supporters personally insulted someone who doesn't support him.

Your right, I didn't read her book or any other political books. I sure don't think she is lazy and I don't see how you came to that conclusion based on my reply. My problem was about her being in or out. I realize that getting in too early eats up a lot of money. She may be smart in staying out a while as she already has name recognition, but so did Fred Thompson. I loved when he finally jumped into the race but he was a great disappointment once he did..

Sarah has done very well in her time in the limelight and she has guts for taking on the media. I don't find any other republicans that could stand up to what she has had to do. I like her, she has guts and honestly. As I said I would vote for her and so far the only other one I like is West....he would also stand up to the media and speak in plain english. You would know where he stands from the very beginning.....I think he would be a great pres. or VP. But the last I heard, he isn't running...

Freds- problem was that he was lazy after he announced.....he didn’t put the effort in it - that’s a fact and the main reason he didn’t do well. When critics try to compare Sarah to Fred that’s what they think - that she’s not going to do the heavy lifting to be successful and they are 100% wrong
