p>The Talk Shows
August 14th, 2011
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): 2012 GOP presidential candidate and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Bachmann; Gov. Terry Branstad, R-Iowa.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Bachmann; Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Bachmann and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, both 2012 GOP presidential candidates.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Bachmann and Herman Cain, also a 2012 GOP presidential candidate; Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa
Whats with the “trampy Laura Ingraham” comment what did she do?
Exactly, I have a certain candidate I favor but I am NOT trashing anyone else since ALL of these candidates would be a massively better choice then the current occupant of the White House.
People need to keep their eyes on the ball not get caught up in the emotions of the moment.
Obama's vision and ideological foundation is fundamentally anti American. He is by far the worst President in US History and must be replaced. We as a nation cannot survive 4 more years of his mis-rule.
Thanks CDB glad you liked it. You are exactly right.
.......and which Conservative Republican might?
Todd is trying to say it is a bad thing. If the Reps make the election a referendum on Obama and his policies, then they will win regardless of their candidate. And this will be especially true if the economy remains in the doldrums. This time around, the hope and change candidate has a record and it ain't good.
More trash talk. Rather then pretend to offer her advice, tell us why we should support YOUR choice rather then trash talk the other candidates.
My computer hard drive will now proudly become yet another artificial wreck off the shores of Islamorada converting lieberal fish everywhere in the Keys.
Of course they’re going to treat her that way. After all she’s an extremist and not a serious politician. They have to paint her as extreme so nobody will pay attention. You can only be a serious politician if you are for more spending and taxes, otherwise why be in gummit?
Pray for America
That’s O.K. we can and do play the same game here only we win far more often than they do.
I just watched Bachmann’s interview with David Gregory on MTP....and it was brutal. It was a hatchet job, to be sure..but he cleaned her clock..she wasn’t ready for it..surely she shold have been prepared for the obvious questions..
The Palin supporters, like the Perry supporters, would be wise to drop this trash talk the other candidate tactics.
As Pawlenty learned this week, Republican voters are not interested in the least in fighting with their allies. We all know who the real enemies are and don't take kindly to those who do the Dems PR work for them.
Trash talking the other candidate then going to their supporters later asking them to support your candidate is a sure fail strategy. The way to win the Republicans and Conservatives voters is to tell them why YOUR candidate should be chosen.
Of course Social Conservatives deserve that type of treatment, they’re intolerant.
Pray for America
Wow, do you think it is right to be “trash talking” like this? /s
Make the left go after 2,3 or 4 of us at once and they look weak, pathetic and nothing more than gotcha journalists. Although the quicker we get a candidate the sooner he can fund raise. Saying that however,m I don't see how money can be the end all in this race.
The left will have so much more than us the contest has to be about ideas, charisma, likability, economy destruction and the rest.
They have already spread so many lies around that the voters have to be getting tired of it all.
You gotta wonder about media mouths that are willing to participate in tanking the country.
I hope this time around the Rep nominee takes the gloves off on Obama and goes after him personally and politically. It is time to really vet this President and make him remove the veil of secrecy that surrounds his personal life. Hell, the MSM has already released Perry's college transcripts.
To this point much of the media is untouched by the consequences of the Democrats actions. At some point Obie and Co’s policies will really hit them in their pocket book or their hospital bed. By then thought it will be too late.
