p>The Talk Shows
August 14th, 2011
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): 2012 GOP presidential candidate and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Bachmann; Gov. Terry Branstad, R-Iowa.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Bachmann; Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Bachmann and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, both 2012 GOP presidential candidates.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Bachmann and Herman Cain, also a 2012 GOP presidential candidate; Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa
Gregory is Jewish. He doesn’t seem to understand the Christian meaning of “submission” for a wife. He is really pushing this religion aspect, something the liberals like to do to paint Christians as being radical and extreme.
Exactly, its gonna get interesting no matter what.
I hate computers especially when they die. Mine at the house just did.
I watched 95% of FNS, unless I missed it, Gov Sarah Palin`s name was not even mentioned.
I switched to Fox News, Fox and Friends just as they were signing off, Mike (can`t place last name) said we have been on air 4 hours and we have not mentioned the name Sarah Palin. They all kind of grinned!
Trampy Laura Ingraham said to Mike with sarcasm, congratulations Mike.
Speaking of trampy Laura Ingraham, she was a panelist on This Week on ABC, the show was so pro Bachmann that I could not stomach it, so I turned off the tv.
The next few weeks are going to be hard to take because the MSM once again will be pushing Bachmann in their media,print/tv etc. They had pushed Bachmann after the last debate, but that slipped to the point that Gov Palin has retaken the lead once again over Bachmann at RCP (POLLS ARE ALL PHONY ANYWAY)
However the MSM push for Bachmann the next little while will be sickening, and they are only doing this for one reason and one reason only...to try and finally get rid of the candidate they most fear, Gov Sarah Palin.
So before Gov Palin gets in the race, I predict other pollsters will follow Rasmussenfag and NBC in removing Gov Palin`s name from all the polling.
2012 can not come soon enough, but Sept 3rd can not come soon enough as well!
I hope Romney is finished, but we won’t know until NH speaks. Maybe not even then. :(
It’s all Bush’s fault, don’t you remember?
Sorry about your computer. What’cha gonna do? You’re requited to be online, don’t cha know.....
Agree. See my tagline. :-)
In addition the way DNC Dave routinely ignored her as if she wasn't even there or even had made a comment was telling as well. Its as if he too was programmed by the same liberal/marxist "genius" who programs zero.It was his meme or nothing almost robotic.
The Tea Party meme the DBM has set up reminds me of how they destroyed Bush.
Just keep on lying and repeating the lies and hope that it catches on. Really pathetic for a once semi-coherent msm.
“Speaking of trampy Laura Ingraham”
Trampy?????
I think her answer on the question during the debate was spot on. Let her critics make it an issue. The reality is that this country is facing much more important issues. Jobs, the economy, foreign policy, etc. are more important and Bachmann and Perry should pivot from such questions and address the real issues. They shouldn’t allow the Dems and their MSM allies frame the debate.
Fantastic essay, Bray! The Left needs to understand that there’s a BIG difference between a stupid hater, and a hatred of stupidity.
And to paraphrase whathisname, being tolerant means never having to take a stand, or ever having to make a decision. Tolerance isn’t too different from appeasement.
Michelle is doing a fine job. She is playing in the same league as Palin but nowhere near as talented.
Exactly Palin has paid lots of dues to figure out how to get waaaay ahead of the DBM and it shows.
"But, bottom line, I don't see here even getting in. She will soon endorse Perry."
I agree. I would bet money on it.
That has been a huge problem of shy RNC guys(or the wrong picks) not willing to take the spotlight or take on the DBM.That Never works.
All successful GOP candidates do that. Failed candidates allow the Leftist media to define the terms of debate. Do that and you will lose.
The Palin supporters, like the Perry supporters, would be wise to drop this trash talk the other candidate tactics.
As Pawlenty learned this week, Republican voters are not interested in the least in fighting with their allies. We all know who the real enemies are and don't take kindly to those who do the Dems PR work for them.
Trash talking the other candidate then going to their supporters later asking them to support your candidate is a sure fail strategy. The way to win the Republicans and Conservatives voters is to tell them why YOUR candidate should be chosen.
I am having a hard time trying to figure out whether or not its in our favor to have a race that goes right up to June or are we better off figuring it our early in the year?
I believe that the leftists in the media truly see conservatives as zoo-eligible freaks. Therefore, they feel that they do not need to observe ordinary rules of courtesy and mutual respect.
DNC Dave was definitely a Marxist on a mission with Bachman. No question.
Please don’t lecture me. You are one of the most brutal, mudslinging posters on Free Republic. I certainly don’t need advice from you on what to say and how to say it.
