But don't tell me or anyone else who ever worked in Headquarers, or a Regional office, or a District office, or held a job of EAS 15 or above that there have been NO LAYOFFS. That's just BS ~ and ignance!
Well, my ignance, such as it is, come from lifetime of observation backed up by Googling. You always seem to show up to defend the bloated Post Office whenever these threads arise. I thought there was all sorts of automation, and less mail these days. (To say nothing of reduced counter hour and box mail hours at the POs I go to.) No GS15s are sorting the mail, delivering it or mopping the floors around here.
