Ismaili Islam, the sect referenced in your article, is sterilized version of Shia Islam so mild that it is considered heretical by the other sects. If you feel the need to make your Muslim communities feel welcome, then this would be the group to talk to. All politicians will do this once they wind up with Muslim constituents. As I mentioned in another post, there's Saudi Royals and Muslim Brotherhood groups that the current and last president entertained at length. Ismailis are kittens compared to them.
