Perry has the military background, as a former Air Force pilot
West’s military service overseas does not qualify as foreign policy experience, and he is a very Jr Congressman
Let’s get past thinking we need a minority or a woman to best the democrats at affirmative action
Perry needs someone who has demonstrated experience in geopolitics, diplomacy and national strategy...and someone with experience dealing with Congress and the DC bureaucacy
Someone like John Bolton/Dick Cheney ....but not John Bolton or Dick Cheney
Possibly there is a former or retiring Senator or cabinet ofice out there from the north or northeast or the left coast... can’t think of a name right now....Someone whose name is not now in the mix
Sam Brownback? Judd Gregg? Voinovich?
Condoleeza Rice?
Understand this.
Cair is a supporter of those who are ok with Sharia, Muslims as victims, dupes for Palestinians against Israel, etc.
That is not Rick Perry.
If he has made Muslim contacts in TX it isn’t through Cair.
I believe you are mistaken, honestly so, but mistaken.
But here’s what’s worse to me...you attacked Perry for being too public with his Christian beliefs, then you attacked him for being too privately supportive of Muslims.
That is schizo, really. It does not logically compute. It is grasping, grasping at straws, that are very opposite in nature to each other, against the same man.
So far, Sarah Palin isn’t running.
Doubt if she will run against Rick. We will see.
Mark it, Rick Perry will stay in Texas and do just about anything with the rest of his life before he would be VP on a ticket with Mitt Romney.
Furthermore, he will beat Romney.
You are wasting time with that line of thinking, but I can’t stop you. LOL
Stay tuned next week, as the Freeper Sarahaterian Church cites Daily Kos and du, where it is found that Perry kicks puppies, and uses cheap deoderant.
Where does it say Cair supports Rick Perry for President?
It says he has a relationship with Muslims...I can assure you that does not equal either a Perry endorsement of Cair or a Cair endorsement of Perry.
Cair is a national organization. Even the Houston chapter which has the reference to Perry having a relationship with Muslims does not say it is with Cair or that they endorse him. Even the Houston chapter which you cite, does not.
You are straining. Straining. Don’t bust a gut.
I absolutely did NOT attack Perry for his public Christian beliefs. NO WAY! I said I admired him for not letting people back him down. Have you people lost your MINDS???
Perry is surging at Intrade, where people put their money where their mouth is.
Perry is leading with 33.7%, Romney at 30%, Palin at 7.4% chance to become the GOP nominee.

Interestingly enough, since Perry announced, Obama dropped to below 50% odds of being re-elected.
Obama 49.5%, Perry 18%, romney 14%, Palin 3.6%

You are mistaken. But I don’t expect anyone here to be even vaguely rational at this point. Have fun.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at some of the keywords and we all know darn well they were entered by Palinista’s,RINORick,ExDemocrat.
Reagan was a former democrat. Now what would the rabid Palinista’s do if people entered derogatory words into one of they’re Palin goes to the fair she could, may be running self appointed Palin campaign managers threads?
Says the poster of kitty cat pictures
You don’t like kittehs? I thought they were cute.
Ding Ding Ding...... We have a Winner. Oh wait.... she starred in a Reality TV show!!!! /s
You two sound more like Democrat talking heads than conservatives. It's obvious neither of you have taken the time to investigate her record. It's much easier and more fun to spew out the BS the LSM told you, than to use your own brains, isn't it?
I've been trying not to post on this thread because I didn't want to interrupt Perry Orgasm Day, but you two take the cake.
She went to the fair as well.
You make excellant points and you are right on West’s limitations right now.
I don’t want Bolton , I like him a lot, he was great at the UN but he has a reputation for being a hothead, unlike Cheney who is political and cool under fire and in front of the press.
Rice is out because she is so close to the Bush presidency in the minds of voters.
I’m having a hard time coming up with someone right now too..who has been good ? Maybe a senator, so we could also influence the Senate?
Hey...how about John Kerry? I heard he was in Vietnam and even Cambodia and Paris?HA!!!!( just kidding)
“been trying not to post on this thread, but”
Too bad you gave in.
