At a fundraiser in New York, Obama likened his efforts to reform government to those of Andrew Cuomo, but then Obama also compared what he was going through to the trials and tribulations of Martin Luther King, Jr. (via Sam Foster):

“I think that we forget when he was alive there was nobody who was more vilified, nobody who was more controversial, nobody who was more despairing at times,” he said.

The problem with Obama is that he can’t show who he really is to Americans because he’s a commie. He’ll never be a true leader. In a few years, he has tried to glom onto the Kennedy’s and Camelot, mimmicked Lincoln in his inaugural trip to Washington by train, making the same stops, had the audacity to use Reagan’s name and now MLK. I’m surprised it took him so long to latch onto MLK being the racist and race baiter that he is. He tries to attach himself to great men because he is a shell of a man and hollow. There is nothing there.
If you type in a search for “Obama compares himself to”, you get quite a long list. Reagan, JFK, FDR, Lincoln, etc.
It’s still hard for me to believe he said that about himeslf!!! What a NARCISSISTIC ASS!!

You are being vilified just like someone who rams society changing through congress without a national debate or even reading the details,
or like one who has no accomplishments, a clandestine past and produced only forged electronic birth documents,

But maybe we should just vilify you as a bastard three times over and Chicago thug tutored by Bill Ayers, discipled by Jeremiah Wright and a golf in your face elitist.
MLK is remembered for a righteous stance against the second class treatment of black sons of slaves, Barry Sotero will be remembered for his unrighteous stance to make others second class and enslave their children.

You've heard it before, but it's worth repeating as a reminder of just how puffed-up Barack Obama got back in 2008:

MLK earned a hero status for his work with civil rights. He was unfairly vilified... Obama, on the other hand is like Jesse James - vilified for justifiable cause.

As a board certified shrink, I’ll serve if called upon to perform this duty for my country.
However, if the evaluation is ordered in respond to a plea of “not guilty by reason of insanity” regarding a charge of treason, I might decline.
MLK. He has more schools and streets named after him than all the founding fathers and other historical figures put together.

As for Obama using MLK to cry about his own treatment. I am surprised he hasn’t used Jesus Christ for the same purpose yet, Maybe becuase Christ could perform miracles and Obama cannot balance a budget or get one passed.
The truth is that when MLK jR. was alive there was nobody who was more vilified, nobody who was more controversial, nobody who was more despairing at times than Lydon Baines Johnson.
