Dude, the last five national champions in NCAA football were all SEC teams . . . and six of the last eight going back to 2003. I don't know what else that conference has to do to become an "elite" conference.

It's interesting to note that the SEC team came into most of those title games as the #2 ranked team. This is because it's damn near impossible to get out of that conference without at least one loss. At any given time there are usually 6-8 SEC teams ranked among the Top 25 in the country.

Dude, lets get a couple things straight.

First and most importantly, there
is no such thing as a national champion in div.I football. There is a BCS champion, not a national champion. A national champion would be determined by a playoff. A BCS champion is determined by by taking 3 to 5 weeks off (huh?) from your last game, getting stuffed and celebrated on the banquet circuit, and then playing one game when you’ve lost your timing and game mindset.

Second, it’s all about the money, it not about the best football team.
