Corey Feldman has no idea what it's like not to be famous. After all, he starred in a McDonald's ad when he was just 3 years old.
"I literally was famous before I knew my own name," he said in an interview with ABC News' "Nightline."
The ad led to roles in films such as "Stand By Me," "Goonies" and "License to Drive." He was a household name before he could read.
But being famous and underage, he said, caused serious damage to him and his friends, including loss of innocence and a lost childhood.

"I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia. That's the biggest problem for children in this industry. ... It's the big secret," Feldman said.
"I was surrounded by [pedophiles] when I was 14 years old. Didn't even know it. It wasn't until I was old enough to realize what they were and what they wanted till I went, Oh, my God. They were everywhere," Feldman, 40, said.
The trauma of pedophilia contributed to the 2010 death of his closest friend and "The Lost Boys" co-star, Corey Haim, Feldman said.
"There's one person to blame in the death of Corey Haim. And that person happens to be a Hollywood mogul.

I didn’t read the whole article, but it appears to me that Feldman is talking about something with which he has personal experience. I’m not certain how that morphs into the political bloviating of the stars you mentioned.
Can't blame them. Unless they are mega-stars who can call their own shots, Hollywood conservatives stay in the shadows, too.
I’ve worked on TV shows with child actors, and lots of parents ask me for advice about getting their kids into show business. I always answer: Do you let your kid play in the middle of the busiest street in the neighborhood? Drink alcohol? Play with Daddy’s gun?
Then go ahead and put your kid to work in Hollywood and hope everything will be okay.
Why parents would willingly give up their children’s childhood is beyond me. And I haven’t yet known a successful child actor who wasn’t supporting the whole family, including Daddy, and therefore calling the shots. One parent always ends up leaving (the other has to be on set to keep the gravy train rolling).
Corey Feldman’s parents took the money and tossed their baby into a tiger cage. Then years later, hopelessly damaged, he blames the Los Angeles Zoo. Um, it’s a ZOO. And your parents put you there.
I guess it’s hard to hate your parents. They say even hookers love their pimps.
Sounds horrible...
Honestly, I recognize neither one of them. Are they famous?
The true villains are parents who neglect their children. It’s easier to target the predators than the parents who destroy the lives of their kids.
>>Liberalism is a MENTAL DISEASE!<<
.
How about, “Liberalism is the Devil’s handiwork”?
You never saw 'The Goonies?'
Nope.
Jessel gave Judy Garland her stage name.....
Probably another lie from this lowlife.
If you believe Mickey Rooney HE have all these stars their stage names.
All I know is, Richie Ashburn gave Yo La Tengo their name.
And he consider that an accomplishment? LOL.
Richie’s been dead since 1997 and I don’t think he even knew he named the band.
Although, since Yo La Tengo has been around (formed in New Jersey) since 1984, it is possible.
As a gift to you, here is a great song and a very nice video to go with it:

You’re right. I take it back. My point was that this is an example of why we shouldn’t pay any attention to Hollywood types. They are almost all two-faced creeps.
This rings especially true if you think back to Hollywood’s rabid defense of roman polanski in his extradition hearings.
Especially memorable is the verbal effluvium excreted by that noted intellectual on “The View,” Whoopi Goodberg, who said that “it wasn’t rape rape.”
Rape, only rape, is apparently accepted, probably even encouraged in her Hollywood, at least if it’s directed (you’re welcome for the polanski pun) at children who are first fed booze then drugs.
Exactly...
Didn’t read all the 4 threads but has anyone mentioned —

Maybe he knows something.
Joel T. Schumacher...
Yikes!
