That was fine, I’m not asking for much. I am VERY wary of star-80 type fantastic fans of any political runner. As I get older, the more I reject this kind of fan-ism and ‘can’t do wrong’ mentality.

I’ve always kept my political opinions tempered.

Mainly I care about stopping hussein now. I’m also concerned at the fringe elements with the cult of personality stuff going on.

In the end, I don’t think she went any more or less rogue cause it got her a 1-season tv spot and a big book deal. Maybe I’m jaded, but I think she’s in it only for the money. The alaska quitting thing and her delays now only reinforce it. I’ll tell you this, if she jumps in strong and takes on the rinos and liberals I’ll not only admit I’m wrong, but I’ll support her 110% and donate.

Now, if she doesn’t and strings her fans on and then bails, I’d appreciate a serious apology. Deal?

You’ve read all my posts ever? I’m flattered.

Try my last one where I say I’ll support her if she wins.

Your last one read as neurotic and self absorbed and meaningless as the rest of your posts.

you can’t get started with donations of five bucks apiece

***************

No, but you can go a long way with a million donations of 1000 bucks apiece. Got mine ready. Got yours?

It isn’t that much to let her lead a movement to help America. She is finding her path through really getting to know this Country. The rules for running for President are not guided by the LSM. If she does run, they will get their chance to attack.

RR had a lot of fans in 1976 as well and damn near took it at the RNC.

Well, that sure is some debating tactic.

Ad hominem to the max for you I guess. Sad you have to go down that route, means you lose btw.

Do you consider somoene that points out that you’ve resorted to personal attacks on a political candidate thread as ‘weird’ and ‘neurotic’?

Cause boy, you sure win that prize :) Hey, I’ll bet you can call this post right here as meaningless, neurotic, and lets see.. What else can you call me? OCD? I dunno.

Palin or neurotic..

I’m seeing her fans and their paranoid attacks as similar. Course there were no online debates then, so it might’ve been much worse.

The insults after one disparages their god-like candidate these days can lead to severe personal insults. I’m of course insulting those that consider their candidate as god-like.. But, they sure do respond with a fury.

Here's the deal sparky, I'm not "in love" with Sarah Palin. I personally hope she decides to run, because I find her a refreshing change of pace from the usual cabal of scripted robots.

As for her shirt, she was dressed appropriately for the FAIR..she was also seen petting a calf...perhaps you would have preferred she wore the Armani & heels? I was quite pleased to see that she didn't pull a wardrobe change for her appearance on Hannity (see the aforementioned scripted robot comment).

I weighed in on the conversation because I actually stood right next to her for a total of about 20 minutes; heard her speaking with people; and saw the types of folks who were anxious to meet her. There were many more females than I would have expected, many YOUNG women, actually (first-time voter age)...you can see two of them in the background of my photo. There were a lot of older folks too; but MANY people her (also my) age and younger.

Oh, and a ton of obnoxious media, who appeared to be bothering her greatly as she was trying to speak with people.

nopardons, I pinged you because I thought you might appreciate my further description of her admirers.

Did you have to start with ‘sparky’?

That ends it right there, you could have defended her apperance and shirt without that and have been credible.

I was saying that her, as a media magnet, may have picked something that wasn’t quite so goofy to wear. When I got the state fair, I don’t go out of my way to dress up with hearts.

BTW, what did her dress really say? You can’t read all the lines.

Well, Don’t worry about all that. It is best to try and understand her tactics. She might run but she has developed quite a dislike for the LSM and maybe she wants to promote that point.

I will have NOTHING whatsoever to "apologize" to YOU for!

OTOH, should she throw her hat into the ring, you can join the crowd, here, who need to eat cold core, IN PUBLIC, for your baseless, error filled, sometimes pathetic posts!

As you get "older"?

Your posts sound as though they were written by someone rather young.

Palin was not only held back from doing what she wanted to ( at the end of the campaign ), but ordered to do and say things that really weren't "her". That IS the nature of the role of the VEEP, though and that's what she did, though it went against the grain.

Unlike you, I am positive that having a show on TLC was the very LAST thing on her mind, as she campaigned.

You're not a cynic, you're not "jaded", you're not what you suppose you are at all; you're just uninformed, delusional, and irrational.

Don't worry about all what? Her really bad negatives in polls? Her weird shirt choices? Her quitting and getting involved in TV shows?

Can you explain maybe what is so great about her? She doesn't speak that well and is vague and awful in interviews.

I'm down to thinking it's just sex appeal with a fantasy conservative veneer over it.

I promise I'm not a liberal or troll, I just really want to know what is going on here.

When she announces it will generate a groundswell of support that has not been seen since, well, RR.
She is not luke warm. She has real contempt heaped upon her. She also has a level of support and commitment to her that is extraordinary.
Her support is based on her remarkable abilities as a politician and a leader. Media and leftist contempt derive from the same reality. She is a force in America that goes to the heart of who we are as a people and a nation.

Many thanks for the ping!

I did enjoy your reply and am extremely happy to hear that there were many women, of various ages ( though especially that some were quite young ) who so wanted to hear and see her and perhaps get an autograph.

The anti-Palinistas are deaf, dumb ( not in the mute sense ), and blind to the facts about Palin; sadly. They have convinced themselves of so many wrongheaded things and are afraid to relinquish them.

I have a hard time talking you real groupies, sorry. You’re saying that TLC show was the last thing she was concerned about? Well, jeez. If I did something big and said ‘screw that’ after, I might think I’m not the best one to consider promoting.

So far you’re saying.. I think that she said ‘screw that’ to the Alaska gov position and the TLC thing. PLEASE correct me specifically if I’m wrong.

Do you understand the nuclear weak theory and how it reacts with the W boson?

You’re asking about the same level of question. Be more on-topic and more specific please.

Let me get this straight, you object to "sparky" but you suggested that Gov. Palin was acting as though she was a "teenager between boyfriends?" LOL!

Yes, she dressed all up in hearts...I bet if you got a peek her notebook it would be covered with "I LUV TODD" doodles and unicorn drawings.

Good grief, any additional "Palin doesn't have the gravitas for the job" memes you would like to trot out?

You wear dresses?

You're a female?

I agree..........the shirt is a bit peculiar ( I hate the stupid "peace sign" on the back ! ), but I am supposing that it is some "trendy" thing that I'm unaware of.

I think that the back says "peace" under that stupid sign, then "love" under the heart, and "smiles", under the smiley face.

I can see Bristol or one of the other girls wearing the shirt, but it's a bit much for Sarah; IMHO.

There, now are you happy?I actually found something I didn't much care for. But, then again, perhaps she is more savvy about it than I, thinking that that crowd would appreciate it.
