It’s OK....
San Fransisco is run by DEMOCRATS, nothing to see hear.
However, if a REPUBLICAN had done something like this, you’d be hearing the screams of “FASCIST!!” all weekend.

So the goons now believe they have a right to the assistance of their victims. Their psychopathic derangement gets stronger by the minute.

Thanks for posting. I was going to, but I got busy cooking and forgot.
I don’t think what they did was such a bad thing. It might cut down on flash mobs, or make it more difficult for them to get together and wreak havoc.
Some people were so upset by this. It’s like they think cell phone service is a basic human right or something.

BART temporarily interrupted service at select BART stations as one of many tactics to ensure the safety of everyone on the platform."What everyone has missed so far, cell phones are easily jammed or the cell towers simply cut off. BART can do it on a whim, the UK could have as well, if they so desired.

Did I read this right, they were protesting the shooting death of a “knife wielding man”? What is there to protest?

“planned protest”
is this like the “days of rage” coming to NYC in Sept?
why protest in liberal enclaves?
go to Texas and take on the real bad guys

Using cell phones to coordinate public disruptions of a public service or private business is an abuse. The agents of chaos can kiss my grits when their play-toys are temporarily disabled for the sake of peaceful, common discourse.
To: SmithL
BART did not immediately offer details of how the shutdown took place, how long it lasted or what stations were affected. While I would be more supportive if they had made some sort of announcement that they were actively jamming the phones, I don't see a problem with this.

Fantastic idea! Shut down cell phones for everyone so that people can’t communicate and form a flash mob! Hey, I have a great idea to stop gun violence. Let’s outlaw guns for everyone so that people won’t get killed by them any more!
