The story said it was a stun gun the officer was pointing at the dogs. Pointing, not firing.

Pretty restrained, I think, when you think of what has happened in other cases.

There are such people ~ they imagine that if they are "in the right" (as they see it) then it's OK to shoot a cop, a little kid, somebody's pet that just happens to be on their lawn or front porch.

They are, of course, very mistaken. This is why we keep "Ol'Sparky" wired up, and the wheels on the gurney's greased.
