Sounds to me like the “fix” is in on this

I have to agree with you for two reasons (so far):

(1) The public has been calling for the resignation of the police chief Michael Sellers, and two days ago he went out on disability. It's said he won't be coming back, and that will leave his $250,000+ pension untouched and collectable. My understanding is that he can't be fired while out on disability.

(2) The D.A.'s spokeswoman keeps telegraphing that if they don't bring these policemen up on charges, they will write a "complete and transparent report explaining why they came to that decision."

I expect a report and nothing more. If the family wants to pursue a remedy it will be through the civil lawsuit they will be initiating.

It it is not handled through the criminal justice system and they let these guys off with no charges, civil society will take a big hit in Fullerton, Ca. There were dozens of witnesses to this alleged murder. Civil charges are better than nothing but that is not justice.
