In a classic, table-pounding, tell-us-how-you-really feel rant, Joe Scarborough has ripped into Michele Bachmann, calling the Minnesota congresswoman and her candidacy "a joke."
Scarborough's impassioned anti-Bachmann blast came during Morning Joe's opening half-hour post mortem of last night's Republican presidential debate in Iowa. View video here.

Scarborough calls Bachmann and her candidacy “a joke.” Ping to Today show list.
Who is laughing at her?
What is humorous about what she says?
‘Lean Forward’. KMA, you commie bast*rds...
Michelle Bachmann certainly didn’t do anything for me last night. I was actually disappointed in her.
That being said Joe Scarbrough has three things going against him:
1) He’s a RINO
2) He works for MSNBC (which paid zero in taxes)
and
3) I don’t like him
The biggest joke is the two losers in your picture.
“Lean Forward” and suck a tailpipe Joe.
Keep on borrowing, sooner or later we will default. Should it be for us or our kids.? Joe wants it to be on his kids.
I'm a Sarah supporter, but Michelle did not say that the gummint should default.
In fact, she said the exact opposite.
She said that the debt ceiling should not be raised, and that the gummint would not default on it's fiscal responsibility but that spending would be cut for real.
The debt ceiling was raised {Michelle voted against it} and S&P lowered our credit rating, the exact opposite of what all the experts said would happen.
The markets are roiling and bouncing like a golf ball on concrete, the 401Ks are getting slammed, and joe is talking about hard times if we didn't raise the debt ceiling.
joe scarface is a total jerkoff.
Scarborough is having mixed feelings being he's MSNBC’s token RINO pretending to be Conservative.
She didn’t exactly turn out a stellar performance. I expected better from her.
Many who now support Bachmann will abandon her if Palin announces. Even without that announcement I believe Michele’s candidacy is on life support.
FLASHBACK:
Congressman Joe Scarborough announced his intent to resign claiming it was to spend more time with his children five months into his fourth term in Congress. A special election was held to replace him.
On July 20, 2001, one of Scarborough's aides died after hitting her head on a desk when she fainted while alone in Scarborough's Fort Walton Beach, Florida, office. According to Scarborough, soon after her death, allegations "spread all over the Internet" that he had been involved, although there was no evidence of foul play.
In 2003, he joked about the incident with Don Imus on Imus's radio program.
Now THAT'S a JOKE!
I agree with you totally.
However, Fox News came across poorly last night, as well.
Mika, did I eve tell you I was a Former Republican Congressman?
Peter King took Scarborough apart the other day - asking “what happened to Scarborough country??” And telling him he’d become a total elitist.
MSNBC is a professional network devoted to hating women. Except for the amazingly stupid Mika - who, more and more, spends her time gazing lovingly at her own reflection in the tv monitors. If it was a body of water, she’d fall into it. What a freak.
I’m not for Bachmann, but you pointed out what a joke Scarborough is. I love how they tow the Demonrat line while their policies are destroying the country. They think they are above being affected by it so the propaganda and big push about how great 0bama is continues and anyone challenging him is evil and incompetent and a joke. These people got it coming. Scarborough is a disgraceful, worthless fraud.
Now,Now,he’s our Al Sharpton!
Scarborough lied about what Bachman said. She opposed raising the debt ceiling; but she never said the U.S. would or should default. Based on that lie, he then describes her as a joke and says anyone who votes for her is stupid.
Her reasons for opposing the debt ceiling extension are logical and informed and go the heart of the issue: we need to cut federal spending first and foremost.
Ironically, the real “joke” here is Scarborough’s deceitful and ignorant rant. Sounds like a drunk to me. In a sane world, he would be fired.
Ah, yes...poor Lori Klausutis...
