Works for me. Palin is still my number one and I await her words on the subject, but if she bows out then Perry is my candidate for the Republican nomination for President.
(I even think it’s possible Palin will endorse Perry this weekend.)
She will back him if she’s not running herself. Personally I think both of them are coordinating on this.

Wow.
If THAT happens, this is gonna be a short, uninteresting primary season!
(What if Giuliani endorsed simultaneously? Now that wouldn’t go over well here, obviously, but, for the GOP establishment types, it would be strong. If Perry announces and is flanked by Palin and Giuliani....well, mittens is gonna have a crapper!)
all that said...I don’t think Palin will endorse him this early.

If she is not going to run, then she should endorse one or another at this point, IMO. The others are weakened by the possibility that she may enter, and if she has no intention of running neither other candidates nor we benefit by the distraction.
I do hope she runs as she is easily my preferred potential candidate, but my expectations are fading.
Wouldn't that make a few mouths drop open, especially here?
As I;ve thought for some time now, it’ll be Perry/Palin, if she decides to run.
Anyone notice how Romney is gettin’ all strong-sounding lately, especially the last day or so> It’s so uncharacteristic, I don’t know whether it’s a necessary act, or the ridiculous heckling he’s getting are just turning him “rightward”——either eay, it’s good for him,
and will make him, should he continue. ALMOST acceptable to “Conservatives” (IOW, CINOs) if no one else makes a strong enough showing. NOW Perry, when he starts mixing it up with the others, is bound to have more of a fight on his hands for the nomination.
Agree 100% with you.

Possible. And much as I really like Sarah and want her to run, I’d have to treat that endorsement the same way I would treat an endorsement of John McCain.
I’d ignore it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Sarah waits a while and then says she will not run, and endorses Governor Perry.
(I even think its possible Palin will endorse Perry this weekend.)
I was also wondering if that might happen....
