this photo tells a story - I've lost the link to the particulars, but it bears out the ineffectual little man huddled in a corner chair - still in his golf attire - and blocked from easily leaving the room.

http://hypervocal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Sit-Room-2.jpg

The story is that: After days of Obama being apprised, several times, that they had the target located and were ready to take him out - “O” wouldn't give his approval - but would would dither and say he had to consult with Vallerie Jarret.

The results always came back ‘no.’
Time was running out and the danger of a leak alerting the target growing stronger - the head honchos decided they had to override, essentially, Jarret, and go for it.

They got her out of WH somehow, then grabbed him off the golf golf and sat him down to watch. The photo shows he was anything but in command. But he was trapped.

The story then goes that he was handed his script to address the people, a script that would make him seem the ‘gutsy’ man that orchestrated the take down...and that would make a hero - and maybe save his reelection.

His speech to the nation was over an hour and half late as network talking heads tried to fill the time...

It would be very informative to hear the discussions going on between the time of the take down, his being given the speech and his being apprised that if he didn't play ball, he'd be in a heap of trouble.

But a narcissist is always hell-bent to strike back. Did he? Did we lose our Seals as a payback for his moosesslime brothers?

Will anyone persue it?

Will anyone demand that his ROE that have resulted, in 2009 a doubling of our KIA from the previous worst year? And a tripling in 2010 and already climbing to quadrupling this year? His ROE give the upper hand to the enemy - who laugh and take full advantage. Where are the commanders who dare to speak up and demand a change? Where are the American people who should be demanding it?

I doubt it. And he, once again, holds his admiration day for Islam at the WH - but skips our Nation Day of Prayer once again. But then, “We are no longer a Christian Nation...”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmC3IevZiik

How long do we suffer this muslim coup?

hustled off the golf course and sat in the corner to watch - hardly the picture of the man in charge.

...this is a "repost" of what I have said on another thread...

...just the two cent's worth from a guy that doesn't KNOW squat...

...quick reaction force or IRF, or whatever, is just the standard cover story...

...1) those types of forces are usually smaller (see Operation Red Wings)...

...2) there was a dog and handler on board, not QRF, more like snatch and grab...

...3) grapevines were burning up the prior week about big "stuff" coming up...

...4) one "regular guy" helo smells of undercover, "no need to worry about us"...

...like i said, just the ramblings of an nobody...

...and now I'll add the following...

...what ever happened to the "loose lips sink ships" idea?...

excerpt from your link: “Additionally, you can't take out a Chinook with small arms fire or even standard RPGs such as the Taliban use. The Taliban needed serious weaponry to take this helo down, and that serious weaponry needed to be in exactly the right spot at exactly the right time, ready to fire.”

Where or where would they get such weaponry?

Maybe from the caches of weapons we LEFT THEM up there in that area last year. You know, when our troops were summarily pulled out of the Kunar valleys - and a deal was made with the Tallies that is you let us pull out without firing on us, we’ll leave you the ordinance deal. You remember those stories. NO? Oh, right, the media kept it quiet.

NO EXCUSE. A little due diligence and these traitorous acts are found - we KNOW our press covers up and yet we don't look any further. SHAME.

I really don't expect many of you to disturb yourselves long enough to look at these videos - I've had ample proof of that - but I post them for the one or maybe 2 who will take a few minutes to concern themselves about the systematic murder of our troops - at the hands of the ‘enemy domestic’

With the face of American changing so drastically every day, who’s to say there will even be elections by then.

I've said this before, myself. Not a stretch to imagine it, by everything that has gone on up until now.

REWRITE: SEALs were sent to stop fleeing Taliban, not to rescue Rangers...

******

5 more US troops killed in Afghanistan...

WASHINGTON | Thu Aug 11, 2011 11:35am EDT

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A roadside bomb killed five U.S. troops in southern Afghanistan Thursday, a Pentagon official told Reuters, less than a week after 30 American forces were killed in the deadliest incident involving U.S. troops in the Afghan war.

You ask: “A unit of Army Rangers were in a firefight with the Taliban in that Valley. The Rangers were pinned down and called for support.
So, why weren't another Ranger unit sent in? Or a team of Army SF and Afghan soldiers. ..

Or Air Support...”

Because of O’Bumbles ROE that have resulted in a doubling (2009, tripling (2010) and now quadrupling (2011) of our troops being killed. They are routinely denied air cover -

http://webnews.ampnetmedia.com/2009/09/were-pinned-down-4-u-s-marines-die-in-afghan-ambush/

http://icasualties.org/oef/

Tallies get ‘first shot’ and don't worry about air cover coming in

Any more questions?

As for 'another unit of Rangers? Probably isn't one. After pulling our troops out of north eastern Afghanistan last year AND leaving the weapons for the enemy, they've now decided we need to go BACK into those valleys - after giving the Tallies time to regroup and dig in - but not even with the infantry in the numbers we had before, which were already far to few - to now sending in only small spec op teams like the Rangers and SEALS. Is there a deliberate plan to cut down on our spec op troops? It's would take years to replace those lost. Spec ops are not supposed to used a infantry. No one is questioning this strategy. Indeed, who the he*l even knows it's going on? How many even know our troops were pulled out last spring? How many know we deliberately left them caches of weapons? Who dares say "TREASON"?

(I am now going to stop posting - I expect a SWAT team to take out this old great gramma any day now, My posts on this thread provide a lot in info - and I doubt many will bother to look at it.)

we have not as yet had a clear explanation of how the chopper was brought down, the altitude at which it was hit, etc...

It was initially reported that the SEALS may NOT have been on a SEAL Chinook that is totally rigged out for combat, not just troop transport, but on a NG Chinook - which would be VERY unusual for carrying SEALS - especially going into a firefight.

These big old machines make a VERY EASY target when backing up to a cliff to onload troops.

And there has been no explanation - nor even inquiries that I have seen - on WHY WASN'T AIR COVER SENT IN FIRST and WITH?

You know, John Kerry inspired the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth and they did a good job of revealing Kerry’s treason and pathological lying. Perhaps the world of retired special forces vets could create Special Operations Veterans for the Truth and help drive Obama out of the White House in November 2012. I’d support them.

The "SEAL" Chinook would have also been a U.S. Army helicopter driven by Army pilots, just a more modified version, and pilots from a Army Special Operations aviation group.

The Rangers were dominating the battlefield, they called the reaction team in to cut off the enemy that were retreating, and getting away.

someone told Rush, and he talked about it on the show, that that helicopter was used because it could get over the high mountains, and other helicopters couldn’t.
