George Lopez wasn't afraid to talk about show getting canceled on "Lopez Tonight" yesterday -- but he told the crowd that he was being fired because of the color of his skin.
Lopez -- whose voice was featured in the "Smurfs" movie -- was talking about how Sony has greenlit a "Smurfs" sequel during his monologue ... and quipped, "So today I lost some work because I'm brown, but I got some work because I'm blue!"
Is Lopez REALLY blaming race ... or was he just trying to crack a bad joke?

Please, no offence taken. I hope you also did not take offence from my comments.
I was trying to make a point for most Americans (of which I am one) that Latino is not a color of skin.
I remember that ORielly made a comment about some anti conservative rally in that he did not see any blacks or Latinos in attendance. Latinos come in all different shades from white to dark.
I e-mailed BOR that next day and asked him what a Latino looked. Natch, I didnt get a reply.
I am sorry for any misunderstanding.
My best to you.
simon, he’s admitted to having a drinking problem
Thany you.
I am still laughing I dared to use such a word.
“simon, hes admitted to having a drinking problem”
Oh good grief!!! Worse yet!!!
We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant last night. Almost all of the waiters are from the same village in Honduras. Not one of them comes close to 5 feet tall and they are all fairly dark. They look like they are all brothers and sisters.
We looked up their village on Google Earth one time but I have forgotten the name.
Talentless schmuck
Lopez was hired because he is brown, despite his lacking any comedic skill.
