Final two recall elections could lead to state’s first Tea Party senator (Wisconsin Fleas on 8/16)

Final two recall elections could lead to state’s first tea party senator

Wednesday morning, just hours after state Republicans learned they had retained control of the state Senate by defeating four of the six Democratic challengers in the state’s historic recall elections, a flurry of activity began in the two remaining Senate districts up for grabs on Tuesday, Aug. 16, the fourth and final recall election day.

The seats, held by Democratic incumbents Jim Holperin of Conover and Robert Wirch of Pleasant Prairie, are the last of the nine recall elections initiated by voters since the state and Senate became divided over Gov. Scott Walker’s plan to strip most collective bargaining rights from public workers.

Now, discontent over the fact that Holperin and Wirch joined their Democratic Senate colleagues in fleeing to Illinois in what turned out to be an unsuccessful attempt to block a vote on the collective bargaining bill may lead to a big first for tea party supporters in Wisconsin.

Sure, Sen. Glenn Grotham, R-West Bend, displays what has become a favorite symbol of the Tea Party movement, the yellow"Don't tread on me" flag on his Capitol officce door. And many other lawmakers speak at Tea Party events.

But Tea Party Patriots are looking for someone from the outside who has organized state residents around the movement. Kim Simac, the founder of the Northwoods Patriots, fits the bill. And she is challenging Holperin Tuesday for his Senate seat.

Oh, it's just gettin' good. While the RAT Fleas and thugs are declaring victory all over the place, there's a good chance, on Tuesday, to bump off a few of the Fleas who ran across state lines in order to hide from work.

Time to kick a$$ and retire a few names.

I hope these jokers' cowardice in leaving the state is front and center of the campaign against them.

They shirked their duty and should have lost their jobs when they abdicated them.

This Simac sounds like “one of us”!

And let’s face it: the two Republicans that lost this week were just weak, no matter what. So if we win these two, then essentially, the GOP is net ahead as they will have taken out two Dem incumbents but only lost two marginal GOP’ers anyway. Well if not net ahead, then at least even!

the yellow"Don't tread on me" flag

Ah, Jessie...that would be the Gadsden flag.

From the article and worth noting:

Holperin acknowledged in an interview Wednesday that he is more vulnerable than Wirch.

Holperin is the Dem incumbent that Simac hopes to unseat. Our best chance to win back a seat.

And this is critical to dampen the Democrats taste for recall elections. The money won't stop them, and they can always get more from Soros and the unions. Thirty million is just walking about money for Soros. But if they actually come out worse off after the recall than they were before they might be a bit more hesitant to use the tactic in the future.

Glenn is MY Senator and I am pleased to hear that he’s displaying the Gadsden Flag. I first met Glenn when he was a first term Assemblyman and he came to talk to our Conservative Book Club at least 15 years ago. He wasn’t our State Rep then, but his mom was in the club. He’s shown up at nearly every one of our meetings ever since. At that time he called himself the “most hated man in the legislature” which was hyperbole, I’m sure.

We all backed him when he challenged our State Senator of the time, a pol whose father had been in the legislature for many years. IOW, her connections ran long and deep. She had refused to bring Taxpayer Bill of Rights to the floor for a vote. Glenn tooppled her and has been our Senator ever since. I don’t agree with everything he says, but I have no quarrel with his integrity, or his intelligence.

Glenn Grothman is awesome! After Scott Walker becomes POTUS, I would be very comfortable with Gov. Grothman! **grin**

I’m here in WI, and I don’t hear the unions/dems touting victory! I do know quite a few people who see the unions as total failures given that they spent tens of millions of dollars in this state and STILL will not have a majority in the Senate - even IF the two Dems. stay on...

Anyway, GO KIM GO!!! She is one in particular that the unions have tried to beat to a pulp with their absolutely false, and very misleading attack ads here.

Saw an AWESOME ad for Kim last night though — Holperin voted to increase tuition assistance for illegal aliens while voting to DECREASE tuition assistance for our US MILITARY VETS!!!

Kim is the “real deal”, and I only wish I was in her district so I could proudly vote for her next week... I have to remain content to speak out for her against the union goons, and cheer her on from the sidelines... Holperin has GOT to go!!!

Kim Simic is not "one of us" unless you raised 9 children, have 5 grand children, train horses, and have been a radio host!! She is one impressive lady!

She's wearing red.

I understand that Dale Schultz (R) is causing problems for the Republicans in Wisconsin because he is supporting the Democrats in certain issues. Can someone in Wisconsin get on his case? He is a former Democrat.

The Bolsheviks are in full blown panic mode now. They blew all their fat-cat union money and now are broke. Let's see what the KOSuckers have to say about this when they lose another Senate seat. I believe they will not let this happen and will be pulling all the stops, including mass voter fraud. A loss here will be devastating to their communist agenda and they know it.

Dear Friends,

What should be a good day here in Madison is somewhat marred by people calling me telling me Senator Dale Schultz may become an Independent or a Democrat.

Dale Schultz has been a Republican legislator for over 20 years.

Dale Schultz is not going to become an Independent or a Democrat and people who are spreading this rumor have not personally spoken with Dale Schultz.

If you know somebody who is tellling people that Dale Schultz will become an Independent or a Democrat, you can tell them they are wrong and this will not happen.

Now it is time to focus on getting Wisconsin back on the right track.

Glenn

From Glen Grothman

I am not from Wisconsin, but every “good guy/gal”, Conservative, Republican, Independent and...even decent Democrats, needs to get their butts to the polls next Tuesday to defeat the two (2) “dirt bag, low life, liberal, Democrat vermin”!!! Knocking off these two “traitors” to America, will help lead to the defeat of POTUS, America Destroyer, Obama and his Democrat thugs and crooks!!! Get out and vote folks!!! The future of your children, their children and this magnificent country hangs in the balance!!!! State Pubbies, get out the vote and don’t be the usual whimps that Republicans are. Destroy these human Democrat vermin at the ballot box next week, and...do not be gentle & shy doing it!!!

Don't forget the Republican challenger against the low life vermin, Bob Wirch -- a fleebagger of the first order, who bugged out of the state and hid in Illinois, rather than debate the budget bill.

Jonathon Steitz, 37 year old attorney and father of 4. Watch his video and make a donation. He does not believe in a lifetime of politics, but is responding to the need of the people.

http://steitzforsenate.com/about-dave.html

I just donated to him and to Kim Simac. We need both of them to win on Tuesday.
